April 11th Game Thread White Sox versus Athletics
I will place a hex on anyone that gets on me for calling JP out for the worthless trash he is ever again. I was really enjoying this game until he decided that winning this game would be a bad thing.

QUOTE (DukeofChicago88 @ Apr 11, 2011 -> 09:28 PM) Morel looks awful at the plate these past few games... I'm following on Gameday. But I haven't liked a majority of his at bats since opening day.

QUOTE (Kalapse @ Apr 11, 2011 -> 09:15 PM) I HAD been giving Pierre the benefit of the doubt because I had no choice, he did manage a .340 OBP last year (which is still s*** and he was hit by many pitches but still better than I expected) and his defense is god damn solid. Well, that mother f***er is dead to me. He's single-handedly f***ing up Matt Thornton's career.

lol@anybody blaming Matt. Matt is awesome. He's just struggling a bit in a new role. JP is awful.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 11, 2011 -> 08:33 PM) A 1 run lead with our bullpen is nerve racking. I think we're fine as long as Ohman, Pena and Humber don't see any run.

lol@Boston. This is great. I respect the hell out of their front office. But to see their fans on the verge of mass suicide is wonderful.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 11, 2011 -> 06:44 PM) I said this in the other thread...let's be honest, if Edwin Jackson keeps doing what he's doing since he came to Chicago, he's going to be pushing close to the $100 million figure too. His agent is Scott Boras. He'll get paid what he earns this year. There's a team or two in NY who could kinda use a pitcher. I agree completely. And this is why I b**** like I do. It's like even if he goes prime Pedro we're f***ed.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 9, 2011 -> 07:47 PM) 1st ballot HOFer Dan Hudson off to a rocky start in Arizona tonight. I know you were joking. But if you actually dissect him it's easy to see that his upside is that of a #2 starter. NL, AL. whatever. That's never going to be proven unless he gets traded back to an AL team. His velocity is up a tick from last year and his changeup looks very much improved. Hudson looks to be legit. With that said, and for the sake of the entire board, let's hope the same holds true for Jackson.
