Unless they make multiple impact moves before the trade deadline, moves that net them more offense and another starting pitcher, 79-83 wins is the best they can hope for. Jon has been showing flashes of his '05 dominance in his last couple starts. Today was vintage '05. I think this is the start of an extended run of excellence for him.

Mark is a competitor. I'm sure it irks him (in a playful way) that Garland hit that HR. Nothing at all to make a big deal about.
