  1. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Jun 17, 2006 -> 04:12 PM) I'll say this -- if Marmol's in our minor league system he's immediately the best arm. Whether he surrenders 4ER or 20 this afternoon. Sure as hell would take him over Lance Broadway. How many White Sox pitching debuts within the last 12 years end on a 6IP, 1ER, 7K performance? GMAB, Flash. I'm almost certain you didn't even know who Marmol was until last week. You just love taking shots at our minor leaguers.

I'd rather see him get CY-Young.
  3. QUOTE(That funky motion @ Jun 18, 2006 -> 09:32 AM) Happy Fathers Day to all you fathers. I got a Contreras signed jersey from my daughter and wife. Now all I need is a win to make my day! Your daughter is the s***. Happy Fathers day indeed. I got my dad one of those Cool Water kits.
  4. This lineup has the potential to be absolutely devestating if the bottom of the order can continue to produce. It's about god damn time anyway!
  5. QUOTE(RME JICO @ Jun 17, 2006 -> 12:00 PM) This trade is a huge relief for me. The bullpen was still a big question mark and this move seems to relieve some of the concern. Now the Sox have 3 Righties (Riske, McCarthy, Jenks) and 2 Lefties (Cotts, Thornton) out of the pen who are all fairly consistent. If Politte can come around, this bullpen is actually looking 2005esque. Another thing is that they all seem to have their individual strengths that Ozzie will be able to use in different situations. Good points all-around. I still think Kenny is gonna make atleast one more move that nets us another bullpen arm.
  6. QUOTE(shoota @ Jun 17, 2006 -> 01:54 PM) Dusty deserves blame for starting Glendon Rusch even though he's been horrible all year. Dusty has better options than Rusch. He does? I'm no Dusty Baker fan. But Mr. Jim Hendry has given him little-to-nothing to work with pitching wise.
  7. What was I saying about us having 4 automatic outs in the lineup again?
  8. Props to Freddy for settling down.
  9. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jun 16, 2006 -> 07:25 PM) Like I've said in a thread before, Hawk may be a senile old coot, but he's our senile old coot. I don't even want to think about Whitesox baseball without the Hawk.
  10. This is some of the worst pitching I've ever seen. Is the NL that bad that a team with this caliber of pitching can still be 8 games over .500?
  11. Including tonight, Brian's BA has gone from .154 to .177 in his last 5 games played. It's a start.
  12. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 16, 2006 -> 07:12 PM) Why the f*** would any of you ever doubt me? Forgive me.
  13. All I want is .230 from Anderson.
  14. Kalpse, you were so right about this awful Reds pitching staff. I didn't know they were this bad.
  15. I swear to god if Freddy can't hold this lead.
  16. God damn this crow tastes good.
  17. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jun 16, 2006 -> 06:57 PM) Crede with a grand slam and an infield single in two at bats tonight. Brian with a double, Pods with an RBI single. Yes, tonight's game makes perfect sense. Claussen is worse than I thought possible.
  18. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jun 16, 2006 -> 06:55 PM) Almost another homer, but Garcia manages to put up a 1-2-3 inning. Freddy won't make it past the 4th. He looks so terrible.
  19. Somebody needs to speak up and let us know what the hell is wrong with Freddy. I'm sick of the Cub-like run around we get after every s***ty Freddy start.
  20. It's a damn shame we're scoring all these runs, yet I feel we're gonna give 'em all back up in the next inning or two.
  21. Crede, Anderson, and now Pods have all taken turns making me look silly. I love it.
  22. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ Jun 16, 2006 -> 06:41 PM) Go to Venezula to pitch in the WBC, smoke weed, come back? So, 3 auto-outs up. Ahaha. This is the perfect time for me to go take a dump.
  23. So is Hawk really killing Freddy as some are saying? I'm listening to the game on the radio.
