  1. Bump! Looks like people are talking about this guy now.
  2. QUOTE(Jabroni @ Jun 15, 2005 -> 01:00 AM) Did last night count? :puke I did say "usually"
  3. What do you think of Corwin Malone's chances of reaching the majors?
  4. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jun 15, 2005 -> 02:02 AM) Fair enough but I think most of us are saying we'd be fine with that move if Crede was then traded off to find a replacement for Dam. Ok then. I didn't read the entire thread. I just saw Marte for Mueller straight up. And who could we really get that's even 85% of Marte for a scrub like Crede?
  5. QUOTE(YASNY @ Jun 15, 2005 -> 01:00 AM) For the sake of discussion, can I ask what you dislike about that deal? The move is counter productive. Now if we had a solid left handed replacement in store, i'm all for it.
  6. Thomas is too fragile for Everett to go anywhere. And I would vomit if we traded Marte for Mueller.
  7. It is true that Hernandez has been playing with fire all year. But when it counts, he usually gets the job done.
  8. He's right on about Wrigley. That s***box is gross.
  9. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jun 14, 2005 -> 10:11 PM) Remember that discussion we were having when Bears supporters were trying to pump up Krenzel because he won 3 straight games? Well that didn't work out so good did it. The Defense won those games. Audios, Krenzel.
  10. We're gonna soon find out how good a coach Phil really is. He's always gone to teams that were on the brink of greatness. That's certainly not the case this time. The Lakers are a complete mess. Way over the cap, little to no trade assets, no pg, no pf, no post presence, way too many sf's, little to no depth. Have fun Phil!
  11. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jun 14, 2005 -> 01:12 AM) Looking at the date it was 1-0 at the time. Oh ok. I still think it's odd to start a poll like this when the series is already underway. To each his own I guess.
  12. QUOTE(ScottPodRulez22 @ Jun 14, 2005 -> 12:39 AM) Pistens, call me crazy but they still have a shot they must win the next 3 games they have at home though. No way in hell the Spurs lose 4 of the next 5 games. They're way too good.
  13. Why start a poll about this when the Spurs are already up 2-0? lol
  14. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jun 13, 2005 -> 09:07 PM) He threw out the first pitch tonight at the game - bizarre throw... They announced that he would be starting at Winston Salem and he had agreed to terms. Great to hear. Any news on Danks?
  15. I fell into this trap last year. Borchard always has these hot streaks that gets you thinkin he may have a shot afterall. He would have to get his average up to atleast .275 before I get excited about him again.
  16. QUOTE(rangercal @ Jun 13, 2005 -> 08:02 PM) Hawk said it looked like he tweaked something. I hope it's not serious Hopefully we hear something after the game. But I seriously hope this puts to rest any ideas of trading Everett. I love Frank. But dude is a walking injury.
  17. Frank should revert back to steroids.
  18. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jun 13, 2005 -> 07:52 PM) You do realize that I was just telling the truth, right? Before tonight's game, his only chance of ever getting to the All-Star game would be his ERA. Now, he has no chance of making it. I'm not s***ting on Contreras at all. But hey, put words in my mouth all you want. That was what I was responding to. If you didn't mean it to imply that Jose from 2004 was back, I apologize.
  19. QUOTE(chimpy2121 @ Jun 13, 2005 -> 07:52 PM) Kenny looks f***ing disgusted at the fact that Frank is hurt again. Are you serious? WTF happened now? Well, I guess this answers all those "should we trade Everett?" questions.
  20. QUOTE(whitesoxfan1022 @ Jun 13, 2005 -> 07:47 PM) if any one knows let me no I assume Ozzie is just giving him a day off, and he probably wanted to keep Carl's hot bat in the lineup. Frank obviously had to get some run tonight.
  21. QUOTE(soxfan3530 @ Jun 13, 2005 -> 07:39 PM) the cubs are losing 8-1 as well. I feel a little better about tonight now.
  22. QUOTE(Princess Dye @ Jun 13, 2005 -> 07:06 PM) yea it'd be naive to think this would never ever happen to him again. he has made huge progress , tonite nothwithstanding But I guess we should go with the thinking that a starting pitcher sucks if he has a bad night every now and then.
  23. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jun 13, 2005 -> 07:00 PM) If he ever had a prayer, it's now long gone. Today he's reverting back to his old self. I knew this was coming. You do realize that before tonight he hasn't given up anymore than 4 earned runs in any of his previous starts? Jose flat doesn't have it tonight. No big deal.
  24. Just say over and over and over again "5 more outs".
  25. I don't think i've ever seen a "defending champion" look so bad to start a finals.
