very happy with three of our four rooks. deng, the argentinian, and duhon all played very well. duhon really controlled the game for our big comeback. too bad for the loss. indy's probably gonna rock us tomorrow.

i'd love to get Johnson, but call me crazy, i don't want to lose Garland getting him. Jon would be an amazing number 5.

what a series. man if our sox were in this one, i'd be drinking pepto by the gallon. i see the yankees winning this one because: -the red sox bullpen is in shambles. -derek jeter won't let his team lose -the yanks will shorten their swings and stop swinging for the fences every at bat -come on it's the yankees and red sox. -the yankees have gordon and mariano rested. i hope that if the sox do lose, it's a blowout. those poor people don't deserve another classic meltdown.

what were the Arod lies?

I remember a few years ago our inability to get a 2nd baseman signed (Bobby Hill i think?), but what were the problems with the Arod contract and was there something else?

i have to agree. playing in the 3rd largest market, but spending like we are in the 33rd is getting old. the fans will come back with a vengance like before 94 if they go out and get a beltran and radke. i'm not 100% sure, but weren't we outdrawing the cubs back then by a wide margin?

how would you like to see him in right field and leading off for us? only in my dreams.

i hope we take a long look at derek lowe. see if his problems this season were real. the guy could be a steal to throw in our #4 spot and if he returns to form, would easily be our #1.

i'm getting a vibe that i haven't felt in forever from a bulls team. if eddie is in shape and tyson can stay healthy, i see a playoff spot.

is MB scheduled to start thursday? whoever is going thrusday is also going tuesday vs TX right...i'll be at the ballpark in arlington for that one.

yeah. we own them this year yet still trail in the standings. how much longer will we consistantly beat them?

look at the twins. just like last year. we make a big trade, take a series with them, then proceed to fall apart while they walk away with the central.

he seems to be all or nothing. unhittable one batter and turned around the next. so long as he continues to not give any free passes the solo shots won't hurt.

the pitching doesn't look like the strongest unit right now, but they will be adding more arms soon enough. they'll probably grab a couple proven starters by the deadline.

what if the trade got a bit bigger? frank for OD and a prospect AND they take paulie off our hands and we take weaver off of theirs? the kid could bounce back in a big way.
