    Celebrity Crush

QUOTE(Pauly8509CWS @ Aug 15, 2005 -> 07:12 PM) Sarah Silverman, for some reason I find her attractive, and I think she's pretty funny too. Agree, also Asia Argento. Nice Dave Matthews Sox sig!
  2. Now that Podsednik has injured his leg and may have to go on the DL, does Kenny pull the trigger for Griffey?
  3. QUOTE(YASNY @ Apr 28, 2005 -> 08:07 PM) This process has already started. Cub fans are pissed that Hendry didn't get a closer. They are very unhappy with the team. That lovable loser protection the franchise has enjoyed was deflected out of Moises Alou's mitt in the '03 NLCS. I agree, and I love every bit of it. It's all true though, it's hard to be a Sox fan, but it's the hard that makes it good. If it wasn't hard then everyone would be a Sox fan. It's easy to be a Cubs fan because there are so many of them.
  4. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Mar 13, 2005 -> 03:25 PM) Unbelievable. I get home from work and el duque is out of the game, the same thing happened when Bmac pitched the last game that was on t.v. I have bad luck. So by the score it looks like Orlando pitched well, how'd he look out there?? Alot better than his first start, Hawk said his velocity was up, got hit hard in the first inning, but just long outs. Willie just tripled.
  5. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Mar 13, 2005 -> 02:43 PM) Hawk, while not mentioning Manuel, is still giving him shots about the make up of the roster when Ozzie took over. I like the Hawk a lot, but he needs to stop with the subtle and not so subtle Manuel bashing. If Manuel was responsible for the Sox roster, then there is a problem with the way this organization is put together. I'll be first in line saying JM had to go, and it probably was 2 years too late when he did, but the man was a class act, and doesn't deserve the Marriotti- like hatchet job Hawk has been doing on him since his firing. Hawk never seemed to have a problem with the roster until Manuel was gone. That's because Hawk is a company guy, he doesn't talk bad about anyone until they are gone.
  6. Here's the link to the article http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/news/article...t=.jsp&c_id=mlb
  7. 80's - Fisk, Walker, Baines, Ozzie 90's - Ozzie, Thomas, Ventura, One Dog, Bo Jackson, Black Jack, Raines, Fernandez 00's - Thomas, Buerhle, Lee, Ordonez, Foulke, Konerko
  8. QUOTE(toasty @ Jan 19, 2005 -> 07:29 PM) You can just hang out and wait for them to be on the website It says in the article that they are available online, but doesn't give a link or anything.
  9. QUOTE(3E8 @ Jan 15, 2005 -> 10:57 AM) Grandstand. Thank You
  10. What is the name of the sports store right by US Cellular, I've been racking my brain trying to remember, but I can't find it anywhere. Sorry for not searching for it on the message board but I can't remember the name. Thanks.
  11. I want to know why Tampa Bay is ranked 10. Anaheim is down below them as well as Minnesota. Actually, there are a bunch of teams that have an over .500 record down below them.
  12. We may have to include another prospect in that trade then, I'm sure the Braves don't intend on keeping Mags around more than the rest of this year.
  13. I guess I don't consider it that young, but definitely not old. My main point was that he is producing and not costing the Braves very much.
  14. We're going to lose Mags most likely, why not get something for him. Our offense has been producing without him. Don't get me wrong, I love Mags, but I don't think we are going to resign him. If we can put him in a package to get Andruw Jones and Russ Ortiz, I'm all for it. There is no way we'd get Estrada, Atlanta is looking to cut payroll over the next couple years. Why would they give up a good young catcher with a cheap salary? They take Mags and let him walk after the year, or even trade him somewhere for prospects then they succeeded in reducing their payroll. KW is looking for someone that is locked up in a contract, like Jones. We get Ortiz for maybe Rauch, then we have a great rotation to get us deep in the playoffs. For everyone saying Jones' numbers have slipped, don't forget he has lost some protection in the order. Chipper and Giles have been hurt throughout the first half so far, and Atlanta lost Sheffield. I think if you plug Jones into our lineup, he will produce.
  15. That's because the Cub's fans are lovable losers. They can do no wrong. :fthecubs
  16. I hope they take some s*** in the press, like we do every time someone does something stupid at a Sox game. Oh yeah, I forgot, that will never happen because Cub fans are lovable losers! :fthecubs
  17. Who thinks Garland should have been pulled after last inning. I understand letting Garland pitch, but he was done last inning.
  18. Olivo, is just playing amazing baseball right now. He's locked-in.
  19. Nice, small ball paying some dividends, the errors and wild pitches are helping as well. Guiel is not having a good day out in left, which I love to see.
  20. Good, I hate Guiel, I wish nothing but bad things for him.
  21. I agree that throwing the ball back is a Cubs tradition, and that giving the ball to a kid would make his day. But, whoever catches a homerun ball has the right to do whatever they choose with that ball. Personally I wouldn't do it, but I think that complaining about a fan throwing a ball back is pretty pointless.
  22. I thought the park looked really nice yesterday, and the improvements were good. I had a blast!
