QUOTE (SouthsideDon48 @ Mar 2, 2010 -> 08:00 PM) Hey everyone, I've watched every single episode of "Lost" since the first season, but I just wanted to ask everyone a question... Does season 6 seem a little "off" to you? I've been enjoying season 6, but something seems off to me, something seems different. It seems to have more of a soap opera feel to it, I actually feel like I'm watching a daytime soap. I'm not sure what it is, but I noticed that a lot of the camera angles they're using is different from previous seasons, the pace of the dialogue seems different, and the timing in the camera shots changing from one person to another person in the middle of dialogue seems different as well. Also, the music doesn't seem to be as dramatic as in previous seasons. Do you think this is all intentional? Is this supposed to be some kind of twist where in the final episode we find out that everyone died after the nuke blew up in the end of season 5? ...Or did they just hire a new film crew? i have no idea what it is either, but I completely agree with you. it just doesn't seem like the same show....

i'm quickly getting impatient. not a fan of the season so far... i need some flippin' answers.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 2, 2010 -> 06:15 PM) No such thing as spot reduction Reddy, gotta do total body. you're right except for the stomach. You can have nice tone everywhere else and still have a little bit of a barrell

QUOTE (Jerksticks @ Mar 2, 2010 -> 04:59 PM) Wow that first page of this thread is creepy. Striker, I'd swear some of these weirdos would kill you if they saw you; or 1 guy would hit you and the others would play follow whichever leader is more popular. I get your point; Coop gets credit for fixing guys, but avoids the doghouse when guys fail. I just think some guys can't put it all together and never will; not Coop's fault. Sure seems like enough guys put it together HERE that Coop deserves SOME credit. So I disagree with you, simple as that; without the creepy tirades. THERE IS NO MEASURING STICK FOR INTERNET RIGHTNESS, but man, so many of you want to build one. On a side note, I just bought an old table saw today for 100 bucks and it rocks, it rocks. It won't be used to build that pointless measuring stick tho, I can tell ya that. give me the name of ONE high-profile pitcher who failed besides Javy Vazquez (and that wasn't even a failure, guy was still a decent pitcher)

QUOTE (SoxAce @ Mar 2, 2010 -> 01:33 PM) Man I wish I had P90X. In other news I'm down to 155 today from 180 so I dropped 25 pounds. Too bad that biggest loser thing still ain't goin on. Got some extra fat that needs muscle, but have no idea how to work them. where's the fat in question? we might be able to help you out.

QUOTE (Heads22 @ Mar 2, 2010 -> 10:45 AM) What is the difference between P90 and P90X? the X. P90X is much more Xtreme (see what I did there?) than Power 90. Still a good workout tho, just not quite as intense.

are you insane? Successes: Thornton Hermanson Floyd Contreras (s*** before coop) Loaiza (s*** before AND after coop) Jenks (s*** before coop) how can you say he wasn't successful with those last three??

QUOTE (The Gooch @ Mar 1, 2010 -> 11:16 PM) Did my first day today. Chest and back. I am DEAD. I am dreading the pain I will be in tomorrow. I was a little disappointed in the amount of pullups I could do, especially on the 2nd round. Didn't even make it into ab ripper at the end, hopefully i will be able to get there next week. haha dude. my first time doing this i had damn near zero pullups. USE A CHAIR! If you do, you'll make huge improvements. Now I don't use a chair at all. Way to go for getting started. Just keep pressing play. Just show up. And once you've pressed play, give it all you've got - and that's all you need to do. So you don't finish Plyo? Big deal. Next time you'll do better, and the next even better, and you'll be amazed at your progress. Glad you've joined us!

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 1, 2010 -> 03:39 PM) Holy s***. Is that thing loaded with carbs or something? Thats for people who need mass, and you will get it. On your other post, Core Syn looks easy at first, until people start doing it, it will kill you. Put your bro into CST and see how he lasts. 140 some grams of carbs, yeah. it's a beast. i also have just learned not to drink it before you work out - even if you wait like 2 hours. the last third of chest and back i was nauseous as all hell. Def saving it for afterwards in the future...

wooo boy. alright starting phase III of round 2, and I just bought m'self some GNC Mass XXX. Basically 1000 calories at a time in shake-form, including 66 grams of Protein. Basically I figured that since i was having problems reaching 3000 cal. consistently, now if I eat the same as i have been and just do one of these every day, I should gain weight no problem.

QUOTE (Cali @ Feb 28, 2010 -> 05:36 PM) The Beckham as a National star not just a White Sox star is laughable. I'm sorry, I love the Sox and I love Beckham, but it's NEVER gonna happen. The sad truth of it all is if he were a Cub there would be a hell of a better chance....that's just the way it is, and we all know it. Case in point, I just tuned in the '08 All Star Game, and Fukudome and Soto are STARTERS. Beckham will place 5th or 6th in All-Star voting even if he's hitting .320.... have you not seen any of the coverage recently? the media is all over beckham. if he produces like he's expected to, he'll be a star.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 27, 2010 -> 06:26 PM) Much better, just a small pull I think, then a cramp right after. Good enough to do Kempo today! nice! I did Core Synergistics yesterday and my bro joined in. Now - my brother's always been in better shape and stronger than me. But that's all gone 180 in the last few months. He was expecting to kick the s*** out of it, but he was toast half-way through. And he was even using lower weights than me. Mission accomplished.

the world's going to flippin' fall apart any second. maybe 2012 was on to something.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 25, 2010 -> 07:10 PM) B&B and ARX How the f*** Tony does a strip set starting with 45 at the end is beyond me. I could barely do 10lbs at the end. to be fair he only does a couple reps of each exercise - but still sick. Bobby in the back is pretty incredible too - considering he DID the whole workout. I start with 20s and can't even do 8, drop to 15, again can't do 8, then do 10s till i just can't lift 'em anymore - but it's not pretty. just did X stretch for the first time ever... i mean... cuz it's x stretch. but it was fantastic. just a really pleasant hour stretchin' it all out. and i like being flexible so i'm probably gonna do it more often.
-
QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 24, 2010 -> 08:55 PM) Yeah, I was. I wanted to turn it up a notch since I've been doing plyo for so long. Not sure if I didnt stretch correctly or what. It hurts from my hammy down to my heel. I'm still going to do B+B and prob swamp S+A for friday instead of legs and back. i sometimes have an issue with my right ACL, it gets tight really easily, so i have a knee brace i wear sometimes during my plyo/leg workouts that really helps out. might be good to invest in something similar to take some strain off your leg while you're healing. Because even in CST and B+B it's amazing how much your legs can be involved.

so yeah, it's a recovery week for me, but i missed a Back and Biceps workout in there, so i did it tonight and kicked the s*** out of it - and myself at the same time. my forearms always feel like rocks half way through. and the pullups... just non-existent. but glad i did it instead of just skipping it.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Feb 24, 2010 -> 11:53 AM) Actually I'd recommend something safer like abortion. ummm.... Abortion is SO not a safer topic. It's actually a pretty controversial issue.
-
QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Feb 24, 2010 -> 09:14 AM) Best part of the episode was to see Locke show up at the end. I got chills. agreed. Along with claire being creepy as f***. also, I think 108 is for desmond. He still has a very important role to play and the island wants him back. It makes all the sense in the world. Plus, he too is in the title credits.

unfortunately my online sarcasm-o-meter is pretty unreliable, but for the record there really are people out there who still only think global warming is an evil liberal fabrication. I know first hand.
