Erstad's OPS after today = .570.
Suck on THAT, Erstad H8erzzzz!1!111111
my thoughts exactly.
one game does not make up for his overall suckage. anyone who thinks otherwise is... well... special.
haha love it. ever since '05 i love that song and i even listened to it to get pumped for the last show of the play i was just in. I love that it's back - i got no problem with a little more '05 feel in the clubhouse now that they're showing it on the field

There really is no such thing as the Sunday line-up anymore. Our bench players are much better than those that formed the old "Sunday line-up".
Gustavo would beg to differ.
but yeah, all around i agree.

Just keep ignoring Corey Hart, OF, Milwaukee Brewers people.
He'll make you regret it... I'm so confident in him he's starting in 2 leagues.
so much for that... :-P
how bout me being an idiot and accidentally dropping kinsler in one of my leagues... yeah... i'm pissed at myself.
and all i got for him was stupid chris capuano...

^^^^^^^ Times 2.
Finally, I'll see Danks perform.
he's pretty fun to watch. really attacks hitters and doesnt seem like a 23 year old up there at all. I'm not expecting an amazing outing but if he keeps us in it i'd say its a successful start.

noone else noticed one LYLE MOUTON on the Indians?
i actually did just now - glad someone else did as well. funny stuff

How about:
In 5 bad innings they let up a total of 19 runs. (34.20 ERA)
In the other 67 innings they let up only 13 runs. (1.74 ERA)
i like this stat even better!
just got back from the game and Danks was fantastic. I think he's going to be really great for us this year. Fell behind batters a little too much and got his pitch count up too quickly but hey, he's a rookie.
I'd agree that our guys gave up after that homer but Johan got tougher as well and started hitting his spots much better. I'll bet theres not a single team out there that wouldnt give up being down 3-0 on the bad end of a one hitter... it happens sometimes.

I didn't see you say anything befor the move to Thorton, only after he gave up the lead. Why is that?
lol.
sorry i didnt type anything but A) yes i was a little leary after yesterday and B ) i was in the middle of saying that Thornton was having control issues lately and C) i posted RIGHT at the top of the inning that he hasnt looked dominating all spring.
owned.
