I think that goes towards Walts perceived idea that his role is to protect his family. Walt ultimately viewed Hank as someone who could replace him as the protector of his family. At this point Walt really didnt care about what happened to him, he just wanted to make sure that things went well for his family. He knew that if Hank was killed, there would be no "Happy Ending".

Walt didnt grovel for his life, he groveled for Hank's life.

Hmm from what I hear Freeman is a complete train wreck.

No thats what NFL teams and real coaches do all the time. lol What can go wrong if the refs call the play correctly? The centering of the ball takes 2-3 seconds, that leaves 15 seconds on the clock. You line up, you let the clock go down to 5 seconds and you spike it. What exactly can go wrong? The refs can completely change the rules of college football so you lose? That can happen on any play.... If Wisconsin misses the fg or the asu runs back the kick for a td, everyone is saying "Why didnt you wear the clock down and make it the last play of the game." You cant answer: "Oh well I had a dream like Final Destination and I knew that the refs were going to screw us." (edit) And I know that s*** happens, but I really think people blaming Andersen are way off base here. He did his job. He was putting Wisconsin in the best position to win. The refs f***ed up. You cant expect that he is going to predict that. Sometimes you do everything right and lose. Hes 100x better than Bielema, its just unfortunate for the Wisconsin players to lose like that. They deserved better. -

The worst part is that they play could have easily been fixed had they just said "The previous play is under review". Because if the refs thought it was a fumble, its a turnover to be reviewed. They then could have put time back on the clock. Id be fine never playing a PAC 10 game again. I know Wisconsin is starting to schedule SEC instead. -

It was first down. And I agree that they could have just kicked with 19 seconds left, but that doesnt excuse the refs from completely blowing the play. Even if they thought it was a fumble, that means that the play is blown dead and the clock is stopped... There is just no excuse. The refs missed a blatant penalty and stopped Stave from snapping the ball. Your basically arguing that Wisconsin should expect that the refs will not call the game correctly. You cant do that. The call by the coach was correct. You have 19 seconds, you kneel the ball and then spike it so that its the last play of the game. Had Wisconsin kicked the fg and ASU returned the ensuing kick off, people would have asked, why didnt wisconsin run the clock out for the final play? One of the few times Ive ever witnessed refs legitimately ruining a game. -

Dont worry guys, NCAA couldnt find any evidence that Johnny was paid... http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/...ker-drew-tieman Im sure that every football player just signs tons of autographs for random guys in burberry shirts. -
Was 9/11 pre-sox talk? Technically the board is older than the 2002 date. That day was when the board was wiped and in the process the membership numbers some how get messed up. The site was definitely up before December 7, 2002, which is my registration date. (edit) Wow just realized wite has me beat with November 2002.

Not really that interesting. ESPN is fighting for its life right now and cant have any of its portfolio damaged (ACC, Big12, SEC) with Fox looming. I still never understood why OSU players couldnt sell their s*** for tattoos. They were getting ripped off, yet they are punished. -
Eh I doubt that the US and China ever go to war. Its more likely that there is some sort of civil insurrection in China than a US/China war. Just nothing to be gained by either side. I cant imagine that China would risk their existence over Taiwan. As for Putin, he proved that the US is different. Its unimaginable that Obama would write a letter to the Russian people thinking that it would have any impact on Russian politics. Yet Putin knows that in America, opinions do matter. Why else write a piece to the people of America? Now that is not to say Americans are exceptional.

Pryor is a risk, but as long as he has no one to threaten his starting job hell likely put up decent fantasy numbers. -

Conservative approach is Williams over Wallace. If you think the other guy is going to go berserk on you, then Wallace has upside, but even then Williams is a starting rb. -
QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Sep 10, 2013 -> 09:14 AM) Loved the first episode of Boardwalk. Easily my 2nd favorite show behind Breaking Bad. Yes, over Mad Men, Game of Thrones, etc. As soon as the show starts i'm transported to the 1920's. It's amazing. Big fan of Boardwalk myself. And I think Im going to be a bigger fan if they start focusing more on Capone. I just kind of laugh at the unnecessary nudity, basically every new female has to show her breasts.

So Im in a 14 team league that has no waiver rules, the guys I picked up last week are as follows: Lance Dunbar Dallas RB Rod Streater Oakland WR Eddie Royal SD WR Ronnie Brown SD RB The only guy I dropped who I have any second thoughts about is Terrance Williams WR Cowboys, but he had less targets than Streater/Royal and is 3wr depth where as they are wr2. I think Ronnie Brown is a sneaky grab right now, he had 25 snaps which lead all Chargers RBs. So if anyone is in a really deep league those are some names to look for. I did not grab any of the Steeler/Giants RB trash because its to speculative and there were guys producing right now available. Also if Harvin is available in your league may want to stash and grab. -
Im just saying that right now Kelly is inheriting a team that isnt exactly built for his offense. In a few more years I expect him to get some more speed weapons to really allow him to open the playbook. (edit) And same old charges lol. Guess it doesnt matter who is coaching.
-
Yes, but you dont necessarily have to counter sue, you just have to petition for sanctions.
-
QUOTE (iamshack @ Sep 9, 2013 -> 09:52 PM) Huh? The Eagles have plenty of weapons. Like who? Jackson, Shady and Vick accounted for 342/443 yards, 77%. Riley Cooper isnt someone who is going to threaten you on end around, bubble screen etc, same with Jason Avant. Celek and Ertz are good players, but Kelly needs more speed players who can can get the ball quick and make people pay in the open field because eventually defenses are just going to lock onto Jackson and force Vick to go to everyone else.
-
Someone may want to call up Shanahan Jr and tell him that a screen pass is an effective way to dissuade other teams from trying to ruin your QB by blitzing up the middle. Or a pitch, or anything to flank the defense.
-
Naked bootleg ftw? I mean the obvious call is play action with a pass over the middle, I feel thats the call 50% of the time after a turnover in the redzone.
-
Im really not sure what the Redskins are doing against the Eagles right now. Eagles dont really have the weapons to run Kelly's offense, so you probably just have to focus on Shady/Jackson and then force the rest of the Eagles to beat you. I mean does Riley Cooper and Brent Celek scare anyone? (Edit) Um someone should tell Vick he probably shouldnt be throwing his shoulder into defensive ends.
