Who's making you laugh?

Other than #9 and #10, yes, I disagree.

#1 hasn't made me laugh in about 5 years now, and the rest of them almost never have, including the Internets infallible Galafinakis, who I find completely overrated.

Who is?

And Chappelle is terrible right now. He used to be great, but that was before the freak out.

I have no idea how Chapelle is #1 here. Honestly, I never thought his standup was great. His show was awesome.

Louis CK is amazing.

Why does it say "Current" and include Dave Chappelle? That makes no sense, he hasn't been relevant in half a decade.

Louis CK needs to be #1, and Jim Jeffries needs to be in the top 5 with Kevin Hart, Daniel Tosh, and Aziz.

Also, Jim Gaffigan should be somewhere around 6-10.

"Whose" starting these threads? A teacher?

Agree.

I'd throw in Anthony Jeselnik as well.

I have no idea who Rickey Smiley is.

Yea Louie is one of the best if not the best stand ups out there, I would put him at #1 and not worry about it.

I saw Chappelle at the Oddball Comedy tour a few weeks back, he was funny but wasn't even the best at the show (he just wasn't as into it as you would expect someone doing stand up would be). Hannibal Buress was the star of the show imo.

Now that's funny

I stopped reading after the omission of Tyler Perry at #1.

Kevin Hart and Tosh are awesome, Aziz I never thought was funny until the roast last week...he was hilarious there.

And as everyone else said, Chapelle? Really?

A lot of them have their moments, but at the moment, I don't think anyone is funnier than CK and Gaffigan. Silverman even being in the top 10 of comedians is a joke, same with Chapelle like this was still 2004...but at least Chapelle could be argued for in a past context...why the f*** Silverman is there at all is indefensible.

Chapelle certainly isnt nearly as relevant as he was in the past but his "Killin em Softly" special is imo the best stand up comedy ever. I agree he shouldnt be on the current list, just wanted to chime in on how great I thought that special was.

Love Bill Burr. His podcast is a must-listen for me.

Others who consistently make me laugh these days are Brian Regan, Patton Oswalt, and Brian Posehn.

That special is the best standup I've ever seen. Absolutely hilarious.

Fixed by an OCD admin.

Ansari is kind of light, I find myself drawn to more explicit comics but my god did he kill that roast.

I am another one who was shocked Louis CK was 10. That guy puts out a special every year that never disappoints. He's almost revolutionary in stand up.

I trust you listen to Jeselnik and Jeffries then, right?

Some of my current favs, in no particular order:

Louis CK

Daniel Tosh

Anthony Jeselnik

Amy Schumer

Sebastian Maniscalco

Jim Gaffigan

Brian Regan

Jeff Ross

Sarah Silverman

Pete Holmes

John Mulaney

Hannibal Buress

Ronald Funches

James Adomian

John Oliver

Al Madrigal

David Cross

Chris Rock

TJ Miller

Kumail Nanjiani

Patton Oswalt

Andy Kindler

Neil Hamburger

Eugene Mirman

I'm probably missing a ton more.

That one is great, Chris Rock's Bring the Pain is still #1 to me

If we are talking underrated comedians you may never heard of, I'd like to toss Kyle Kinane and Tommy Johnagin in the group. Both are Chicago comedians, both are pretty solid.

Kinane was hilarious on Drunk History.
