  1. They have to handle AP with kid gloves this early in the season. If they suck then no reason to really have AP go hard at all this year.
  2. Thats why he wanted this thread, he didnt want everyone reading about his ass being tenderized.
  3. The hard part about helping other people is you need to know about the league, scoring, depth, etc, to really know what the best ideas are.
  4. I agree with SS2k, why would there be any need to erase the thread? If you are going to post on a message board, own your post, good, bad or indifferent.
  5. QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 7, 2012 -> 01:49 PM) I don't mean to say they are below me. I think if people believed in God they would not be as selfish as they are and they would make better decisions for the betterment of all. I definitely think it'd be a kinder, gentler America. What is interesting is that I think people would be less selfish and make better decisions if there was no god. Too many people think that they can do whatever they want "in the name of god" or they dont worry about worldly consequences because "I am going to heaven anyways." Two different opinions on the same issue.
  6. QUOTE (mr_genius @ Sep 7, 2012 -> 12:43 PM) You have to vote for him first, then you can see his policies; which can change at any time if the political winds change ever so slightly. Ted Kennedy had some hilarious comments about Mitt back in 1994. Mitt on Universal Health Care: Here is the "multiple choice" from the DNC convention: Ted was hilarious, give him 2 more weeks and maybe hell vote for me. But in all seriousness, I really have never seen anyone have less conviction of their beliefs.
  7. QUOTE (flippedoutpunk @ Sep 7, 2012 -> 11:01 AM) I dont need a twitter feed to tell me whats going on in my game, with my imagination and some prescription adderall, i make my own storylines for my recruits i.e. my great 4 star white hype RB from New York that came to Pitt and went on to break every school rushing record Ever since 1999 my friends and I create leagues where we screw around with rosters and then run a franchise as far into the future as we can before getting bored. Now we cant do that because the whole point is getting messed up together, not sitting at home drinking by myself as I play online.
  8. QUOTE (flippedoutpunk @ Sep 7, 2012 -> 10:53 AM) My buddies in afghanistan are quite perturbed that M13 is catered towards the online playe. Exactly. Madden is the game where you and your friends play in person. Online is okay, but its nothing like being in the same room with your opponent.
  9. I cant even play it because it angers me so much to think about it.
  10. If youre interested this article has some information about appeal difficulties. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/c...0,4196697.story
  11. I think about myself and it gives me hope, it really does.
  12. Man Im taking credit for everything tomorrow. Greatest generation, curing cancer, dinosaur spaceship dr who episode, I DID THAT!
  13. This convention is starting to make me believe we have a real mustache problem on our hands, and the question is why isnt the liberal media reporting it?
  14. I hope those mustaches arent our future because there are a lot of weird ones, or I am just a mustachist and cant tell the difference between people with mustaches.
  15. Man that would have been a great intro. "Sorry for being a few minutes late, I was starring in Eastwoods new hollywood blockbuster as the invisible man."
  16. Pretty much by definition thats worse than nothing. Actively hurting me is worse than nothing.
  17. I have to believe Biden is going to get killed by fact check, but hes like Bluto from Animal House, when hes rolling hes rolling.
  18. Woooo biden is on the were the greatest generation plan. huzzah, greatest generation!
  19. im pretty sure hes saying that obama gave all of those things for free and that its just handouts to people who arent deserving. It wasnt my comment though. I like Biden, I know thats not popular. He may not be the smartest, but thats not what its all about.
  20. QUOTE (farmteam @ Sep 6, 2012 -> 08:02 PM) It's a great kernel of an idea, but it all comes back to the same place as campaign promises: How are they going to hold the politicians accountable when they don't work across the aisle? Take the money and support a challenger at the next election, see Grover Norquist tax pledge. You do what I say, you keep getting my money and I make sure that you get re-elected. You screw me, I bury you.
  21. If your not watching the CNN feed, Mark Kelly the husband of Gabrielle Giffords is talking about a new pac where they will only give money to Democrats who are willing to work with Republicans. Whether or not its true, can people at least agree that these are the type of statements we want to see? That we prefer people who want to help and work through problems, to Gorver Norquist? That seems like a reasonable place to start, that both sides pledge they are going to try to be productive, instead of try to f*** things up purposefully?
  22. Kerry has a certain charm. His attacks on Romney are in a self-depreciating way, using his own flubs to attack Romney is a clever move.
  23. So I guess Kerry's speech writers word of the day calendar was on "exceptional" when he wrote this speech.
  24. Did they give any rationale why that would be an exception? The only thing I can hypothetically think of is that they somehow argued that wasnt for the truth of the matter asserted, and therefore it was outside of hearsay to begin with. But who knows, without seeing the transcript its hard to tell, especially since I didnt follow the case at all.
  25. Ive got no problem with someone stashing Ogletree on the bench as a wait and see. Without looking at the team, the league, the depth, I really have no way of knowing if hes worth it or not.
