Sox-35th T-Shirts
Don't know, but last time I got off at Sox-35th, there were guys selling some awesome Shingo shirts. I regretted not buying one and am wondering if they are still selling them.

Ozzieball!!!
Can I put this on WSC when you are done?

Twins missed out on extra player in deal
The Twins are a classy organization by not screwing three other teams.

WhiteSoxCentral is back up and running
Yes, there is. For the longest time I had the html script wrong so the newsletter wouldn't do a thing. It's fixed, but right now there is nobody on the list because my server changed our e-mail settings without notifying us, and I lost the list. There will be one, but you'll need to re-sign up. And I'd wait until the new article template is up before you re-sign up also.

WhiteSoxCentral is back up and running
Took longer than I wanted and we didn't even get the article pages finished, but the index is back up and running and updates will be swift again. Hang with us for the article pages. (Articles are just posted on the old template) EDIT: If some of you have the page set in your favorites as whitesoxcentral.com/index.html, the page won't work. It is now whitesoxcentral.com/index.php Regardless, www.whitesoxcentral.com works.

Hot Topic
Hot Topic's are back, but I'll have to tell Jason that the hot topic section needs to be put back up. Putting them here will work for now. Question: Esteban Loaiza was a 21 game winner for the 2003 White Sox, but failed to find any consistancy this season. Williams responded by trading him to the Yankees for an equally inconsistant pitcher in Jose Contreras. In your opinion, which pitcher would be better for the White Sox: Esteban Loaiza or Jose Contreras? Why?

Loaiza at today's Yankees Game

I like Contreras and I see big things for him, but that comment was really funny.- My dad
- Prospects the prospered
That's quite interesting. Hardly any of those players came out to be stars, and the ones that made it weren't much of anything special. I praise KW for trading away the 'future' for bonafied players.- Have hope
The thing that has kept me going is that the Sox are beating themselves and not the other way around. This type of non-execution for two straight months would be downright ridiculous. IMO, it'd cost Guillen's job. It won't continue on like this. Look for the Sox to get back into this thing soon enough, folks.- Have hope
bos bos bos ana ana ana oak oak oak sea sea sea cle cle cle ny ny ny cle cle cle tex tex tex ana ana ana tex tex tex There's Minny's upcoming schedule. Now, in all honesty, do you think the Sox can continue to beat themselves by not executing? It'd be a joke if this type of non-execution continued for 2 more months. The Sox are better than this, and once they realize it, Minny has another thing coming.- Latest names in rumors
I'll take Cat and Zuan, no prob. Preston can stay in Colorado and continue to overproduce.- Miguel Olivo sighting!
This might be the wrong forum, and if it is, I apologize, but I found this: "I had to spread out and stop popping everything out. I was watching that Miguel Olivo hit and said, 'that's what I need to do.' And it worked. Some guys copy Barry Bonds or Albert Pujols; I copied Miguel Olivo." – 1B Kevin Millar on heating up at the plate after making some changes July 19 in Seattle I miss MO.- the future of the white sox
Lower deck seats are better, IMO. I'm a former club level season ticket holder...I got tired of not being able to be an 'ass' real fast.- Gammons on BBTN
It makes sense to me. The Sox are in a pretty deep hole right now and the last thing that needs to happen is the Twins improving their ballclub. He may not be as good in the AL, but he's an improvement of what they have behind Santana and Radke.- Gammons on BBTN
He gives the White Sox a legitimate outfielder instead of Borchard, Perez and Gload.- Dave Wills puts things into perspective for me
Don't know who caught the end of the post game show but Wills had found out a 15 year old boy him and Aaron had been following with cancer passed away. He talked about it at the end of the game and how him and Aaron visited the kid for a few mins, gave him some signed memorabilia, but the kid didn't make it. And Wills broke down into tears. The Sox are losers of five straight, and yes it sucks, but I gotta tell you, after Wills finished talking, it just didn't seem to matter anymore. Enjoy life people, White Sox baseball is the least of our matters.- Randy Johnson rumor in Daily Southtown
We'll know soon, boys.- My views
Two stupid comments. The Carlos comment speaks for itself, I won't bother saying why that is a stupid comment to make. Then trash Jose? He's the Sox best base runner, has been for years. He made a bonehead play today, but he's still the Sox best base runner. And I don't think Guillen sent him, I think Valentin just made a dumbass mistake.- break....
Everyone says that...and it's TRUE.- Same old white sux
White 'Sux' that's clever, never heard that before. What a worthless thread. - Not Giving Up on This year but....
