How good does Griffey Jr. look now?
From what I recall, the White Sox were close to dealing for Griffey before he pulled up lame on his hammy in ST. Well, now how nice does his left handed bat look in the middle of our sputtering slow and righty dominated line-up? What do you think the price on this guy is now? If he can stay healthy, maybe losing Magglio isn't so bad afterall.

Five Good Minutes With Joe Borchard
I found it pretty interesting to see that he doesn't follow the White Sox. Are they all like that? ...I was pretty disappointed to hear him say that. It's not really hard to follow what they are doing. I mean, he should have a little inside information on players up and down there, so he should follow in those terms. And it's not hard at all to check the paper or the internet to see what their record and stats are. Also, it was a good interview. I was glad to see Boz press Borchard about his struggles. I'm glad I took the time to listen. I'd reccomend everyone else does the same.

this place is a godsend!
Well, I should have finished reading the posts. Un Chien Andalou by Salvador Dali. The eye they cut is actually the eye of a goat. ...They really did some brutal things to animals for the sake of film back in the day.

this place is a godsend!
It's the beginning of an old film. I can't think of the name or the film maker...but I'll think of it. I know the film maker is rather famous, and it is still disputed to as if the person actually made the film.

Jose Santiago?
6+ ERA is where people are coming from. He'd better start getting his breaking pitches over otherwise he'll really be struggling.

Manuel was right about Jon?
That's combined with the fourth inning...but where were you able to find that?

With the unbalanced schedule:
. You're damn right.

Manuel was right about Jon?
I pulled this from my recap from whitesoxcentral. "In 6 games this season, Garland has allowed 8 runs before the sixth inning. After the sixth inning, Garland has seen 11 runs pass the plate. However, in those six starts, Garland has pitched 30 innings to the sixth inning. When the sixth inning hits, he's lasted 13.2 innings afterwards. Therefore, Garlands RA (not ERA because not all of the runs calculated are earned) is 7.50 after the fifth inning and 2.40 before the fifth inning." The math may be off a little, but it is still quite telling. Perhaps Manuel was right all along about this guy?

The latest update is that the Chat Central site is down...or at least I can't get in. So I'm not quite sure what to do at this point. If I can figure anything out, I'll post it. If anyone else can figure something out, post it.

Koch's Statement
He's just trying to win the fans over anyway he can. We know we think he sucks, but the fact is that this is the way he gets it done. It might be a matter of us getting used to it, or the Sox getting rid of him.
