That's a weak argument and you know it.
A rookie that's never seen a major league pitch was liable to hammer Santana that day. Jose knows what Santana has, knows the timing, he's just on the other side of the plate.
You can do better Brando.
Yea I remember that, but what does it have to do with Jose Valentin striking out a lot?
The premise of the post was that Bobby Bonds K record would be in trouble if Jose played everyday...then he threw in that Keith's mom would be as well.
I don't get it...
We learned early in the season that you can't stretch Cliff out past one inning. Ozzie should have known better throwing him out there for the ninth.
The fact of the matter is that Cliff needs to throw that damn slider for a strike. Once and if he does, he'll be a damn good pitcher.
Most half price nights are pretty rowdy. I enjoy it, but it's no place for the children.
I would reccomend that if you bring a child, to stay away from the bleachers. That is where the bulk of the fights take place, but there are the exceptions.
He can dig them out on the righties from time to time, but never the lefties.
He earned the golden sombrero (sp?) tonight. He looked awful doing it too...
He had no business hitting in the eighth either.
I wanted to see MO, but I guess Ozzie wanted to save him as a catcher. Either way, any of the lefties off the bench would have been a better option.
That's because most of the people that post at WhiteSox.com are on the fringe of trolling. I've had my battles with him, but he doesn't go outside the lines unless you step over first.
Maybe he enjoys when people try to attack him, but I personally wish he'd come over here.
Corg is creditable. People that come across him at the WhiteSox.com boards hate his guts, but he is creditable.
...I wish he would come over to Sox talk. He's a good guy, but only the regulars at WhiteSox.com know it.
