  1. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 05:40 PM) Are we better offensively at any position when you put them head to head? Maybe 2B and 1B. If Dye was playing, we'd have RF, too.
  2. QUOTE(DaveIsHere @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 03:42 PM) Rumor is Gload left the stadium packed a little bit ago Did Willie pack and leave the stadium, too?
  3. He wasn't sleeping over at Glenallen Hill's house, was he?

    QUOTE(kapkomet @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 12:13 PM) No s***? I never knew that. You learn something new every day.
  5. This upcoming stretch should really show what this team is made of.
  6. QUOTE(Sonik22 @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 10:03 AM) well the nationals can say bye bye to that division, its about time the braves get to run away with it again. I think this might be a braves team that makes it past the first round, they look very good. That's too bad. I'm sick of the Braves. They win the division every year, but then choke in the 1st round. You have to hand it to Bobby Cox, playing through all the injuries and still being in the race. I bet the Nationals will be trying for a SP now, but Livan was definitely a horse.
  7. This may be Clement's first start against us at The Cell. Who knows. We definitely have faced him before, though. Anyway, it's offense v. pitching this weekend. Boston has an AL-best .280 batting average, as well as league highs in hits, RBI and on-base percentage. The White Sox have an AL-best 3.58 team ERA and league highs in saves and runners left on base. Who will come out on top? I say 3 out 4 makes a big statement this weekend.
  8. In between starts, he writes articles and slides on tarps. Who knew.
  9. It may be hard for Rowand as long as Torii Hunter is playing, but Crede may be a strong possibility.
  10. That was ALMOST like that Cleveland game last year when we came back from 5 or 6 down to win on Sandy Alomar's SF. Oh well, we'll get 'em tomorrow.
  11. QUOTE(Y2HH @ Jul 20, 2005 -> 04:10 PM) Highly unlikely here, but I'm hoping anyway. At the VERY least, at least our offense woke up in time for Boston. If anything we'll have a little bit of mo.
  12. Does Joe still have the lucky sideburns?
  13. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jul 20, 2005 -> 04:05 PM) Uribe is not a good matchup against Farnsworth. Hopefully, he can walk. What do you mean? He's going yard!
  14. QUOTE(CYGarland @ Jul 20, 2005 -> 03:57 PM) If the Sox somehow come back and win this thing, i will never make another negative comment about them again. :rolly I don't think you have anything to worry about.
  15. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jul 20, 2005 -> 03:27 PM) We get crazy farns in the 9th. Hopefully Pauly can turn around one of his heaters. He did last year when Farns was with the Cubs. Stranger things have happened.
  16. This more than likely will be Garcia's last inning. He's at 98 pitches through 7.

  18. QUOTE(AWhiteSoxinNJ @ Jul 20, 2005 -> 02:44 PM) Get Jenks up! He pitched 2 1/3 innings yesterday. Don't think we'll be seeing him today.
