  1. Pods grounds out. And that's the way our second half begins...
  2. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Jul 14, 2005 -> 05:19 PM) That is a SMALLL zone. Which is not good for us tonight. Especially not for Contreras.
  3. Millwood's walking in from the bullpen. Game should start soon.
  4. Aww, man. Everytime I'm in these threads, there's rain. :

  6. Hopefully, Gload will be next.
  7. QUOTE(GreatScott82 @ Jul 14, 2005 -> 12:56 PM) When will the roster moves happen? Harris down- Gload up- Walker down- Marte up exe? Or did those moves already happen? I'm guessing they'll keep Jenks up through the weekend. Then he goes down after Sunday's game in time for the Duke's return.
  8. Just wondering if someone can make a sig for me. Maybe something with Politte, Hermanson, Cotts "Bullpen Stoppers" in it. Or even something with Robin in it. Or something else. There's some very creative people here. Thanks a lot guys.
  9. Welcome and enjoy.
  10. QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ Jul 14, 2005 -> 11:46 AM) I think the Burnett deal is in serious troubel now that the Jays are heavily involved. I think AJ will end up there. If he does go to Toronto, they'll have to part with Chacin. KW may have to up the ante if he really wants him.
  11. Timo may be playing tonight: Pods in center, Timo in left?
  12. My God! We haven't won a damn game in a week! We started the first half off with the Indians - Look how that turned out. Repeat performance?
  13. I think it was just nerves. He started the inning facing his ex-teammate, two Cubs he saw a few weeks ago, and an ex-Cub who faced him last year. The only guy who wasn't familiar with him was Cabrera. I thought it was pretty ironic.
  14. QUOTE(ISF @ Jul 13, 2005 -> 09:58 AM) I'm pissed a guy that is suspended gave up the AL's shutout. I'm glad Camera Boy did than Garland. Garland was in a bit of a jam. But got out of it. I'm actually quite happy Rogers got lit up. Rogers = Asshole.
  15. Buehrle is the winning pitcher. Garland gets the save. Pods steals two bases and Konerko knocks him in. Just a hunch. NL
  16. My favorite Bo moment was in 1993. When the Sox clinched the AL West championship. He launched a HR to LF to give the Sox the lead in the clinching game.
  17. Garland & Buehrle may be flipped according to Ozzie. It depends on how they're used in the All-Star Game. El Duque is scheduled for July 18 v. Detroit (Magg$ return to Chicago).
  18. This definitely isn't an "Ozzie Ball" lineup.
  19. AL Starting Lineup: 1. CF Johnny Damon, BOS 2. 3B Alex Rodriguez, NYY 3. DH David Ortiz, BOS 4. LF Manny Ramirez, BOS 5. SS Miguel Tejada, BAL 6. RF Vladimir Guerrero, LAA 7. 1B Mark Teixeira, TEX 8. C Jason Varitek, BOS 9. 2B Brian Roberts, BAL SP Mark Buehrle, CWS NL Starting Lineup: 1. RF Bobby Abreu, PHI 2. LF Carlos Beltran, NYM 3. DH Albert Pujols, STL 4. 1B Derrek Lee, CHC 5. CF Jim Edmonds, STL 6. 3B Aramis Ramirez, CHC 7. C Mike Piazza, NYM 8. 2B Jeff Kent, LAD 9. SS David Eckstein, STL SP Chris Carpenter, STL
  20. QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Jul 11, 2005 -> 12:37 PM) Unfortunately, he did not. Yep. Aramis Ramirez.
  21. Here we are at the halfway point at the season. Our team is in 1st place with the best record in all of baseball. So, what's your favorite 1st half memory? Is it AJ's Game-winning HR against the Dodgers? The Sox three separate 8-game winning streaks? The emergence of Jon Garland? Cliff Politte's RBI single? The strong return of Frank Thomas? Share....
  22. Hope he gets the starting nod, too.
