  1. Pierre lf, morel 3b, Dunn rf, PK 1b, AJ c, ramirez ss, Rios cf, beckham 2b, humber p
  2. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 2, 2011 -> 09:04 AM) f*** the Cubs I could have been at this game today, too bad previous plans got in the way.
  3. That'll teach Rios - half ass it as usual and you will sit for 4 innings! But you can play the next day!
  4. I'm grinning from ear to ear! It's about F-'in time!! It took Ozzie how long to see what the fans already saw?
  5. Went to the game today, as well. My brother and I were about to bet on how many times Dunn K's and if it's swinging/called. In any case, I now have the utmost respect for Peavy. He must have huge stones. Talk about saving the pen, big time.
  6. If they need a starter to come in, the bet guest would be Floyd.
  7. revised lineup - Quentin scratched: pierre morel ram pk dunn rios aj lilli - rf beckham
  8. I agree with this, a lot of negativity. This used to be a place to get info and latest news and discussions on upcoming games. But is it still ok for me to criticize Alex Rios? Do I need to back up my statements with research or is hitting under .220 through June on a $12.5MIL salary sufficient enough?
  9. I hope they display it at City Hall, so I can get a picture with it!
  10. I'll take AJ's and Peavy's competitiveness/wanting to win over Rios' lackadaisical attitude.
  11. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 22, 2011 -> 02:12 PM) I know Dunn is the equivalent to Paul Pfeiffer when it comes to hitting lefties. But Doug Davis? If you have no faith in him against Doug Davis then I don't know what to say. It just means that Davis will have three less strikeouts tonight than originally anticipated.
  12. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 21, 2011 -> 09:47 AM) You'll have to kill Jeter first. That won't do anything. He'd still win one, even in death.
  13. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Jun 21, 2011 -> 01:33 PM) Pierre will go 0-4. Dunn will have 3 k. Rios will hit into a double play. These things happen about as often as the sun coming up. I will add that Rios will jog to first base and not hustle to try and beat it out.
  14. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jun 19, 2011 -> 07:00 PM) Just thinking out loud but it's so odd that we're 3 games under .500 yet have a bunch of guys that can make a legit claim to be allstars. Konerko is virtually a lock. Although, with AGon, Teixera or however you spell it and Cabrera, it might be tough. Humber has earned it also - though he most likely will get snubbed.
  15. I wish I could show up for work, not even care, be lazy and still get paid millions of wasted money.
  16. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 16, 2011 -> 02:14 PM) I'm so glad Rios is on this team. My favorite player. Ever.
  17. To quote a Chuck Garfien tweet from last night: If GIDP were an art, the Sox would be Michelangelo.
  18. Does anyone have the rankings for where the Sox are in GIDP or stranding runners in scoring position? We have to be near the top.
  19. No Kubel, no Thome, no Span, no Morneau or Mauer. However, there will still be some no named plucked from their minors to bloop us to death.
