I finally got around to starting Mad Men. Netflix finally got around to putting up the first 50 episodes or so. I think i'm up to episode 10 or 11 now. I heard it starts slow but gets going in second season. I hope that's true. I know lots of people here like the show.

Though Burn Notice has been a slight letdown for me, i'm liking Suits more and more every episode.

Since my job deals with mail i can say i wouldn't mind them cutting off Saturday mail. It would mean me not working Friday night/Saturday mornings and instead work Sunday night/Monday morning. More weekend for me

Just finishing up Season 2 of Warehouse 13 (still digging the show) and have the last season of Dexter standing by. If i recall correctly....this board was mixed on that season. oh well.....can't wait.

No Emmy nods for Sons of Anarchy? Not even one for Katie Segal? Unbelievable

I caught the premiere episode of Alphas on Syfy yesterday and thought it was pretty good. Nothing like Heroes. Well, a little like Heroes but not that much. Also, I have been watching Rizzoli and Isles and I was debating turning in my man card. Then again I thought both lead actress are hot and the show even has Bruce McGill in it. How could it be that bad???

I've had some time to kill and pulled out the playststion 2. Shot through First three Metal Gear Solids......3 Resident Evils.....and Driver 1 and 2. Man, i kind of missed these games.

Finally got around to seeing Thor and i must say it was a lot better than what i expected.

I've made it through the first season and a half of Warehouse 13. I wouldn't say i love the show but barring a bad turn in the show i can see me sticking with it.

I haven't seen the musical episode in a while and i could still rattle off most of those songs. Compare it to a lot of the other sitcoms 'musical episodes' and it was pretty good. the reason for the music made sense....the songs fit the story well and were actually pretty catchy and funny. I would put the series finale up against almost any other and it would be easily top 5 or 6.

After a few weeks Franklin and Bash has still been entertaining. Men of a Certain Age (to me) is still amazingly good and I was not disappointed in the season premeire of Burn Notice.

Last time i went to a charity poker tourney i sat there for an hour and never saw a card higher than a 9 and no pairs. needless to say....i didn't last too long. Its only $20 so it's not necessarily the money but i would at least like to play a few hands maybe even win a hand or two. sigh....good luck to me.
