  1. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Nov 8, 2010 -> 12:45 PM) Although I enjoyed the second episode of "The Walking Dead" there were quite a few mistakes made. The most obvious was "don't get any on your skin" and that followed by bare hands touching zombie guts a few times. It was a good episodes. I was sad to see this is only a 6 episode season. well...didn't the black guy in the first episode tell the sherriff that it was only a bite that could transfer the virus????? though one would think rolling in the innerds would do the same thing.
  2. QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Oct 17, 2010 -> 02:24 PM) Anyone else recalling Gemma and Clay talking about Jax going to Ireland will cause the truth to come out, or something along those lines ? it was something like that. I would like it if they dove back into the backstory of John Teller/Clay relationship. If you watched the show from the beginning, then you know Now maybe we could see things leading up to it.
  3. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Oct 16, 2010 -> 01:41 PM) I don't think they explained it yet. I would have to guess it was Stahl, but not entirely sure. Jax asked Stahl to get it delayed so they could make the trip to Ireland without skipping out on the bail.
  4. As much as i'm enjoying Terriers and SOA, I've been re watching Justified on my DVR. I can't wait for that show's return
  5. Hedberg vs. Wright I managed 10 or 12. better than i thought i'd do.
  6. I don't have th inclination to go through the whole thread to see if someone else brought this up but about this time last year....weren't people b****ing and moaning about how Alex Rios was a waste of a roster space and how he'd never contribute to the Sox?? i swear i remember reading that last year. I think most people are more than happy Alex Rios is on the team this year. Anyways.....i would like to see Manny back for one more year if only to see what he can do if he can manage to stay healthy for the whole year. he may not be the Manny or old but if he could put up 20 HR i would be very pleased. Plus it will move Kotsay back (if he's back) to a 4th outfielder where i think he can best serve the team.
  7. Season 3 of Fringe started off on a very good note. I'm psyched for this season.
  8. QUOTE (pittshoganerkoff @ Sep 23, 2010 -> 06:43 AM) Yeah, what the hell happened at the end? Who was that guy in the background? i dont know for sure who it was (obviously) but i have a feeling

  14. story WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. - Admitted thieves are going free, while an elderly Wheat Ridge man is facing the possibility of spending the rest of his life behind bars, all, he says, for trying to defend his property and his life. 82-year-old Robert Wallace said in February that he looked out his window and saw two men hooking his flatbed trailer up to their pickup. He yelled at them to stop, but they sped away, stealing his trailer. He told police he fired two shots at the pickup. Minutes later, police say 32-year-old Damacio Torres dropped 28-year-old Alvaro Cardona off at a hospital emergency room with a gunshot wound to the face. Torres did not stay to talk with police, but they caught up with him later. According to court documents, he admitted he and Cardona stole the trailer. Wallace did not want to talk on camera, but when we asked him if the two men threatened him he said, "They almost ran me over." The Jefferson County DA's office said that neither Torres nor Cardona have been charged with anything at this point, even though Torres confessed to the crime. However, the homeowner, Wallace is facing twelve felony counts, including four counts of attempted first degree murder. If convicted, he could spend the rest of his life behind bars. Sources say Torres and Cardona are believed to be in the country illegally and both have an arrest record. Cardona's record includes public fighting and numerous traffic offenses like driving without a license or insurance. Torres's record includes agricultural trespassing as well as a 2005 arrest for aggravated motor vehicle theft for which he was given a plea bargain to a lesser crime. Sources say Torres is also under investigation for being part of a major auto theft ring. Wallace is out on bond and due back in court in September to enter his plea. Neighbors say the thieves should be the ones facing charges and Wallace should be given an award for protecting the neighborhood. Now before the usual arguements come out of 'well..he didn't need to shoot if he wasn't directly threatened' or 'his life wasn't in danger' i have to ask at what point do we just let the thieves take what they want??? What if i were to catch a thief stealing my car, he sees me?? should he be able to ward off a shotgun shot with a wave and a smile???? If you are out stealing cars i think the presumed risk of being shot is pretty much understoon whether you are an illegal or not.
  15. That's nothing like the pitcher who broke his arm throwing a pitch. i'm thinking it was Dave Dravekcy(sp) some years back. i remember seeing the tape and actually being able to hear the arm break....still gives me the willies thinking about it
  16. about a year ago...i told my eye doctor about my eyes drying up after only 4 or 5 hours of having contacts in. she took a look and told me my tear ducts were crusted over. She advised me next time in the shower to take some J&J baby shampoo (no tears), put a little bit on my finger and rub it in the corners of my eyes every day and said i should notice a difference in a couple weeks. I really thought she was pulling my leg till i tried it. sure enough after a couple weeks....my problem got much better. it didn't go away completely but got alot better.

  19. story I almost don't even know where to begin with this story. If your religion forbids you from selling pork products, alcohol, etc. then don't sell them. If your business takes a hit then YOU have a decision to make. either get into another line of business or break your religious 'law'. Sticking your hand out for state money....my money...your money.....Illinois money should not even be considered an option. Especially when the state has no money to pay for things it should be paying for.
  20. Porn actress Ami Jordon goes tits up age 19......... Story (site not safe for work)
  21. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jun 18, 2010 -> 03:41 PM) I've only seen the pilot episode of this show, but it looks quite promising. I'm gonna be downloading it somehow, assuming I can find it, but I recommend it for anyone willing to try a British Comedy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Inbetweeners I have seen the first 2 seasons on BBCAmerica. i love this show.
  22. did you know...... orginally hired to play the part of Red Foreman on That 70's show was Chuck Norris. That would have changed the whole show there. not necessarily for the better either.
  23. I didn't watch the TV channel show Hot in Cleveland but i think Jane Leeves is very beautiful
  24. If Kenny really really wants to get rid of Ozzie but isn't 'allowed' to then Kenny strikes me as the type of personality that would then quit. I'm sure there are other teams out there willing to give him a job. Personally i think Ozzie should shut the hell up over the drafting of his son crap. He's got enough to worry about at the major league level.
