  1. scary thing is i read this somewhere else....but it's still funny... 334. The first episode of "Joanie Loves Chachi" was the highest rated American program in the history of Korean television, a country where "Chachi" translates to "penis".
  2. QUOTE(Soxy @ Mar 23, 2006 -> 03:00 PM) Glad to see Kevin go. But I am willing to endure Bucky for a few more weeks to get rid of Kellie. What's a ballsy? Please, you should at least know what part of speech it is from the context. Pathetic. I think someone at AI mentioned to Pickler how 'successful' Jessica Simpson became with the dumb blonde routine and she's trying it as well. She IS pretty hot and that will carry her a ways. If she stays in her zone (country) she should be ok. It helped Carrie Underwood last year!

  7. Man severs own penis, throws it at officers March 17, 2006 Before cops threw the book at him, Jakub Fik threw something unusual at them -- his penis. Fik, 33, cut off his own penis during a Northwest Side rampage Wednesday morning. When confronted by police, Fik hurled several knives and his severed organ at the officers, police said. Officers stunned him with a Taser and took him into custody. "We took him out without any serious injury, with the exception of his own," said Chicago Police Sgt. Edward Dolan of the 16th District. Doctors at Northwestern Memorial Hospital reattached Fik's penis Wednesday, sources said. He was listed in good condition Thursday, according to hospital spokesman Andrew Buchanan, who declined to comment further. Smashing car windows Fik, who lives in the 5400 block of W. Berenice, is charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of criminal damage to property, said Officer Laura Kubiak. He told paramedics he was distraught over problems with his girlfriend in Poland, Dolan said. Police arrived on Fik's block at 8:20 a.m. Wednesday after receiving reports he was smashing car windows, Dolan said. Fik then broke into a house down the block. A group of six or seven officers assembled in front of the house, Dolan said. The occupants were not home, he added. Fik was bleeding when the officers arrived and may have already cut off his organ, Dolan said. "At that point, this guy came running out, naked, with a handful of knives . . . and started throwing knives at the police officers that were 10, 20, 30 feet away," Dolan said. Fik threw his penis during the confrontation, too, Dolan said. He then went back into the house and re-emerged with "another handful of knives," Dolan said. Dolan sneaked to the side of the bungalow's front steps and stunned Fik with the Taser. Fik fought back when officers went to restrain him, Dolan said. "About 10 feet from the front porch, right on the sidewalk, was his penis," Dolan said. Dr. Greg Bales, associate professor of urology at the University of Chicago, said severed penises are uncommon but surgery usually works. "As long as the penis is placed on ice and reattached within a few hours, the success is usually pretty good," Bales said. OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. J-Pegged Computer Techie Discovers Cache of Child Porn BY M. SAVO A 24-year-old computer-repair technician at Quidnunc—the bustling computer store on California Avenue Southwest at Alaska Junction—is used to seeing porn pop up on people's computers. "Everything from beaver shots to weirder stuff like Japanese animation featuring tentacles and slime," he says. "You get pretty desensitized." However, the file he saw last month while repairing one customer's computer freaked him out. It was titled "5-year-old Girl" and it was a picture of a grown man having sex with a little girl. There were several other JPEG files with similar titles, he says. It's against the law to not report child porn, so he called the police. [Police Beat, Charles Mudede, March 2.] In the report, Officer Askew states: "I seized the computer. Once at the SW Precinct I opened the files to examine the contents. I saw numerous pictures of children engaged in sexual acts with other children and adults. Some of the children appeared to be as young as 7 years old." Last week, in response to the Police Beat item, Quidnunc received the following anonymous letter: "Although I do believe child pornography is wrong, sick, disgusting, etc., I believe it is equally wrong what your employees did... I do not want to be concerned about some misguided do-gooder taking my private information and reporting it to 'Big Brother.' This is just one more example of the decay in civil rights in this country and you have chosen to contribute to it. I will not let this happen. I will no longer patronize your business... Just two days ago I referred a friend to your business to have his computer upgraded. I immediately called him and strongly advised him to go elsewhere. When I explained why, he agreed. We need to begin organizing boycotts against individuals who threaten our personal freedoms." Civil Libertarians are rightfully on edge these days. Congress just reauthorized the constitutionally questionable USA PATRIOT Act, which allows "sneak-and-peeks" where law enforcement can search your home or office, take photos, and seize items without letting you know that a warrant was issued. A week later, the GOP majority in Congress lowered the bar on domestic surveillance guidelines, retroactively accommodating President Bush's creepy spying program. However, skittishness about the right to be left alone, justified and righteous as it may be, seems way off point in this case where—if the pictures are authentic—young children are being sexually abused. Quidnunc employees were flabbergasted. Owner Bill Hibler says: "We were not casually snooping. The customer asked us specifically to solve a problem he had opening certain image files. The files we found were not images attached to spam e-mails or downloaded through casual surfing. They were full-resolution JPEG files with descriptive file names—the kind that someone likely received as a result of payment or exchange. I would love to be on record stating my belief that no one has the 'personal freedom' to support the sexual exploitation of a child." Possession of child pornography is a class C felony and can get you a year in jail, according to the King County prosecutor's office. The folks at Quidnunc say that when the suspect called to check up on his computer, they simply referred him to the Seattle Police Department. They say he was nonchalant and even came into the store later that day to pick up a disk. He called the store again about two days later and asked if the store had fixed his computer before turning it over to the police. No, they had not. According to the Quidnunc employee who took the call, the suspect said: "Figures," and hung up abruptly. The SPD is currently investigating the incident. They have not made an arrest ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Can't believe that someone out there saw this as an invasion of privacy and got someone to agree with them. Wait...then again i can believe it :headshake :headshake :headshake
  9. here's an update ....... 03/14/06 -- DURHAM) - The suspect in this month's attack on the UNC-CH campus has written a letter to ABC11 Eyewitness News Eyewitness News received the letter Monday, in response to our request for an interview. It was sent from Central Prison in Raleigh and dated Friday, March 10. Addressed to ABC11 Eyewitness News anchor Amber Rupinta, the two-page letter includes Taheri-azar's explanation of what he was trying to accomplish in the attack. "Allah gives permission in the Koran for the followers of Allah to attack those who have raged war against them, with the expectation of eternal paradise in case of martyrdom and/or living one's life in obedience of all of Allah's commandments found throughout the Koran's 114 chapters..." "The U.S. government is responsible for the deaths of and the torture of countless followers of Allah, my brothers and sisters. My attack on Americans at UNC-CH on March 3rd was in retaliation for similar attacks orchestrated by the U.S. government on my fellow followers of Allah in Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, and other Islamic territories. I did not act out of hatred for Americans, but out of love for Allah instead. " Taheri-azar is charged with nine counts of attempted murder in the March 3 attack. Police say the Iran native drove a rented SUV through the Pit, a common area on the Chapel Hill campus. Six people were hospitalized. Taheri-azar surrendered to police shortly after the attack. Investigators swarmed his apartment, where they discovered a letter, CDs and a handgun permit It amazes me how little press this story got or how the press stopped short of calling this a terrorist attack. :headshake :headshake
  10. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Mar 14, 2006 -> 07:55 PM) Aww, come on, Travolta had to be in his 30s when he did the Sweathog thing. Casting geriatric high-schoolers is a Welcome Back Kotter tradition. Actually Travolta was only 24 when WBK started. Then again...considering the NY school system he might have been a bit young for the part........
  11. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Mar 14, 2006 -> 07:27 PM) Sounds like Gabe needs the cash. And if John Leguizamo isn't tapped to play Juan Epstein then there's gonna be hell to pay. i know he looks younger but i don't see a 41-yr. old Leguizamo in the film about high school students. Though that would have been perfect casting a number of years ago. Maybe Ice Cube could get together with Cedric the Entertainer for some ideas since the Honeymooners did so well
  12. It will be interesting to see if/when this gets made.... LOS ANGELES (AP)—"Welcome Back Kotter" is being made into a movie, with Ice Cube taking over for Gabe Kaplan in the starring role. Cube tells "Variety" that he's a big fan of the original show. Kaplan shares the rights to the series and he's been resisting a movie version for years. But he says he likes the way this project is shaping up.
  13. Gee...wonder how long it took someone to notice these fake 'Euros' link (maybe)NSFW.........Fake Euros
  14. QUOTE(The Critic @ Mar 13, 2006 -> 07:59 PM) I would never use the "hot beer" faucet. In Norway....warm beer may be a good thing. Personally...i get stomach gas just thinking about warm beer. Now some nice ice cold MGD..or Sam Adams...or Killians....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
  15. BEER Reminds me of that commercial where it's raining beer!!!!!!
  16. Thousands of demonstrators gathered at the Chicago Federal Center to protest the house bill 4437. They believe the bill discriminates against undocumented residents and those who try to help them and it robs them of a chance at the American dream. Are they serious??? That's like saying laws against bank robbery discriminates against bank robbers. Unreal. I would think that people here legally would be against the illegals because it's making it harder for them. (Before anyone jumps ...yes i know they ARE legals against the illegals). Maybe the INS should take a stroll downtown and start checking ID's
  17. GALVESTON, Texas (AP) _ Galveston County sheriff's officials are investigating a deputy who allegedly locked his nephew in a jail cell with an accused killer. Deputy James Pruitt is accused of leaving his 13-year-old nephew in a cell with James Earl Cutsinger during an unauthorized tour of the county jail in February. Relatives of the boy, who was unharmed, apparently wanted him to re-examine his behavior, according to sheriff's reports. "This was a case of a deputy trying to do a good thing, and it just didn't end up right," Capt. Joseph Gregory, second-in-command at the county jail, said Wednesday. Cutsinger is jailed on a murder charge and being held on $500,000 bail. He is accused of murdering 51 year Crystal Beach businessman Daniel Kohlhofer in December of 2004. The investigation was launched last month after another inmate told jail officials what happened

  19. Prince news I remember seeing Prince back in early 90's and i must admit that it was one of the best concerts i've ever seen (still liked INXS better on Kick tour).
  20. QUOTE(q\/\/3r+y @ Mar 7, 2006 -> 09:25 PM) Fourth one? Good luck. Closest to a fourth one you are gonna get is the wolverine movie in 2007. Yeah...i heard that as well but one can always hope. I mean....if Hollywood can drag the friggin Enterprise out for 7 movies then they can find a way to get more X-men on screen!!!!!
  21. Once again an X-man movie coming out on my birthday...sweet!!!!!!!!! it will be interesting to see not only where the movei goes but what it will lead to as far as the next sequel goes. it's nice they are bringing in Beast (even more interesting with Kelsey Grammer) and i believe they are introducing Arch-Angel as well as a couple others. I also am happy they are keeping the young Iceman in this one as well...but would it be that hard to bring in Gambit???? Damn....well....maybe X4 will be the one.
