  1. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Dec 16, 2012 -> 08:12 PM) Decent shape to do what? Beat the Hawks? They still can't see the Heat and probably the Knicks. lol. Would you stop acting like your R.C. Buford in that pathetic joke of a league you and all your friends inhabit. hey im not steves friend, he doesnt even accept me on facebook
  2. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Dec 15, 2012 -> 04:16 PM) You report a stolen rifle to the police. Yes, I know this is rocket science. EDIT: In this gun tracking database that I'm proposing, you get a gun(s) stolen on more than one occasion you're flagged in teh system and not allowed to buy one ever again. As a dealer, you have a certain number of guns missing and you lose your license permanently. people that get their gun "stolen" would be such a small database that i would be able to measure my penis against it. The argument that people in gangs do NOT obey the law and do NOT lawfully buy their firearms or even steal their firearms seems to be skipped on a regular basis. Ive lived in bad neighborhoods all my life unfortunately, i can tell you with ease that vice lords and G.D.s and latin kings buy their firearms in deals that involve trunks and back seats of cars. I am really sick and tired of liberals thinking, "i have a degree in liberal arts, therefore i know whats best for america." how about you guys take the time to live in a s*** neighborhood for a year then you would understand how things work. I am not joking, but today i called the cops on gangmembers that have been constantly leaving beer bottles on my front porch every week and today one of those gangmembers got arrested, and you know what happened when i left my house when I decided to take my gf out on a saturday night date? A group of 4 asshole gangmembers threatened to kick me and my gfs ass to oblivion for calling the police on them.. Now if i didnt have a .45 caliber pistol under my bed, and if i hadnt already been trained at shooting at al qaeda for my entire career, id be worried. You guys have all the education in the world but until you know what its like to live in FEAR then stop trying to tell everybody in America what is best for us.
  3. Im all for stiffer requirements for firearm ownership, I think its hard enough as is to get a firearm legally in Chicago but whatevs. You have to apply for a FOID card, get your background checked by the state police, wait a couple months to receive it, then go to Cabellas and purchase a gun, wait 72 hours to actually get it as your background gets checked AGAIN, then you pick it up after the third day, THEN responsible gun owners get their firearms registered with the Chicago police department. People make it seem like you can waltz into Bass Pro Shop and buy the thing even with a background of domestic violence or anything else that would be on your record, and then stick it in your pocket and go on a redneck rampage right away. Meanwhile, in the bad areas of Chicago, gangmembers very easily and illegally obtain weapons of their choice, most of them with the serial numbers scratched off. Chicago is one of the top cities for gun violence in America, and yet chicago has some of the stricter policies on gun ownership in America, no concealed carry, background checks up the wazoo, so how is that even possible with all these gun laws you guys love to force down everyones throats? The city says street gangs are responsible for the bulk of the city's gun violence1 and we all know that street gangs do not operate within the law and purchase weaponry through law abiding vendors. So how the heck would your gun laws make a dent in gun violence in Chicago if they have no effect on the source of the majority of the violence? 1 http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/06/12/f..._n_1589148.html Edit: Also, Im not saying NOT to enforce tougher restrictions, because i am a law abiding citizen and there is no reason why I wouldnt be able to own a firearm, even after the next set of hoops you guys try to get me and every other law abiding citizen to jump through.. I am saying dont be upset and taking it out on lawful gun owners when these laws are ineffective against gangs and the G.D.'s and Vicelords of Chicago are still killing people and hitting innocent adults and children in drive-bys across the city.
  4. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Dec 14, 2012 -> 05:38 PM) People who fight with guns are p*****s IMO. Unfortunately since alot of those p*****s reside in Chicago I have to own one so I can clip a motherf***er if he tries to break in and hurt my family. I would rather have zero guns. Agreed 100% I would honestly rather have no guns, then I could brazilian jiu-jitsu these punks to death.
  5. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 14, 2012 -> 04:57 PM) I just started masturbating. prove it
  6. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Dec 14, 2012 -> 05:04 PM) I don't understand personally, but I can understand the idea. I can also guarantee that, if those initial acts I suggested were put into place, the additional number of handguns sold would decrease and, upon confiscation or depreciation to the point of breakage, hopefully be less eventually. Perhaps they could do a gun trade-in where you get cash for guns too, which would take more off the street too. This was suggested a while back, but it would have to be worthwhile for the customer too. If my firearms get taken away from me, then it puts me at risk with the type of people that are on my block. True story as of now, no one really messes with me cause im sort of like the crazy veteran on the block that people leave alone because he actually knows how to use a firearm, Doc Holliday style. If these punks knew I had no way of defending myself, im almost certain that my Mercedes would be sitting on bricks in the morning.
  7. Ive read that he attended the school when he was a child, as well as his mother being a teacher there. It looks like his mother was the main target for his aggression.
  8. QUOTE (Wanne @ Dec 14, 2012 -> 04:03 PM) I think you might be stereotyping NRA "folks" as backwoods hillbillies with confederate flags and rifle mounts in their pickup windows. I actually enjoy quite a few benefits I get from the NRA...and agree with their stance of protecting the 2nd Amendment. Problem with the NRA is some of their agendas and lobbying give them a bad name. I agree. All of my handguns are registered with the Chicago Police Dept. and I am extremely trained and proficient in the use of each one. The neighborhood I currently live in isnt the greatest, theres always vehicle break ins, drug transactions, fights on my block. If anyone has ever dealt with gangmembers in their neighborhood they would know that it takes the cops an extraordinary amount of time to actually show up to a scenes. Id like to feel like i have some sort of control when it comes to the safety of me and my family and neighbors.
  9. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Dec 14, 2012 -> 04:02 PM) I think we agree, I think we just have different tones in which we're writing. No matter how difficult you make it to get guns, people will find a way and gun violence will occur. Where's that other poster on here that used to be in a gang, tuna? did he post in this thread yet? He could probably tell everyone how easy it is to obtain illegal firearms and bulletproof vests etc. I know from experience, the kids i used to be surrounded by in high school all bragged about how easy it was to get a gun and i remember them showing me backpacks full of pistols and trunks of cars with automatic weapons, and im talking military grade stuff as in the same armor that I used in Iraq. Gun control laws? Psshh. Maybe it could work in the minds of those that have lived in cozy neighborhoods all their lives, but in neighborhoods that would make robocop malfunction, gun control means squat.
  10. Sox fan because of my dad, he really bought into the yuppies vs. the blue collar workers in chicago mentality the rivalry gave. Lived in the northside of Chicago the whole time ive been in this city.
  11. Thank you Cam newton, thank you adrian peterson, thank you Knowshon moreno, thank you alfred morris and the Jets D. 143 points for the day and in the drivers seat for the $1k prize for highest point total in the last 3 weeks. Lets keep it up!! :headbang
  12. My favorite bull, i used to dominate with him on nba live, sick mid-range jumper bro.
  13. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 6, 2012 -> 05:50 PM) Marlins and Pelicans fans don't count but im saying RZZZZZZZZA is saying people here wanted the bulls to tank and im pretty sure i was the only one that said id like for that to happen.
  14. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 6, 2012 -> 05:25 PM) Who? Me
  15. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Dec 6, 2012 -> 03:35 PM) What's your buy-in 500 bucks per team. It started off at $100 per team but as time passed and my buddies all became business owners theyve been upping the price each season, almost pricing me out lol. Thankfully the commish is one of my best buds and he lets me pay in installments.
  16. In my league everyone still has to win a chance to win money, even teams out of the playoffs. The playoff winner obviously wins the $3k and the authentic Hulk Hogan championship belt, but the team with the highest accumulative points for the last 3 weeks wins a prize of $1k as well. Last year the last place team in our league won the prize for most points in the last 3 weeks combined. As far as keepers go, you can keep anyone on your roster as long as they were drafted in the 3rd round or above. When you decide to keep someone, you MUST draft them 2 spots ahead of where you drafted them the year before. I.E. Danny Amendola drafted in the 13th round this year, next years draft you pick him up in the 11th. Then every season after that you only have to draft them one spot ahead of the previous years spot. Also rookies that are drafted may be kept in the round in which they were drafted in.
  17. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Dec 4, 2012 -> 10:15 PM) Too lazy to see if this has already been posted... lmfao. i watched dark knight rises again today but this time on blu ray and much like the first time i watched it, i couldnt get over how ridiculous bane's voice sounded. the rest of the movie is neat but.. dat voice!! i just couldnt take him seriously as a villain. Bane sounded like he should be commentating on a fine game of cricket, not terrorizing gotham.
  18. I always just set my expectations to zero and act like an asshole that way the girl has no preconceived notions about the type of guy I am. That way when she actually becomes my gf shes not expecting a romantic Fabio type, and I can easily surprise her by doing simple things like actually wearing jeans instead of sweat pants with mustard stains every night. Its worked every single time since I was about 20 years old.
  19. matt bryant got me 11 points, not too shabby! better than brees, julio, roddy, jimmy graham, Colston. Gotta love fantasy projections
  20. Holy crap, i just finished sending a resume and completing a seemingly hour long application for this open FBI position in Chicago that directly relates to my job in the military. Hopefully that 5-point veterans preference pays off.
  21. Dang so Sherman and Browner from the Seahawks tested positive for Adderall eh? Yep, thats a hell of a performance enhancing drug. When youre on it, you can be the MVP of anything in life. The one semester that I took Adderall (As prescribed, mind you), I legit got straight A's in all four of my classes with EASE, and they were all 300 level history courses. Now that im off it, im a C average student with anti-social tendencies. Time to schedule an appointment.
  22. thats a great deal. and what are playoff tickets?
  23. QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Nov 26, 2012 -> 09:26 PM) Wow, they blew a game they were up by 27. I think it's on Thibs for not resting the starters when they were up 27. I mean Noah still played 39 minutes and Deng 48. Butler only played 12. Inexcusable. And that last play that was drawn up was crap. that was brutal, i was sort of rooting for the bulls to crush them after seeing drew gooden talk all sorts of smack on twitter.
  24. QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Nov 26, 2012 -> 08:11 PM) I wonder how the system sales do once holiday season is over, it definitely didn't get the hype the original wii, ps3 and 360 did when they were launching IMO. If they wouldve had a Zelda or Metroid or even freakin mario kart, something unique to the Wii U i think they wouldve done better. Im getting mine on friday and im looking at the lineup of games and its like. meh.. i guess i kinda want to play that batman game again
  25. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Nov 26, 2012 -> 04:21 PM) Eh, I wouldn't say that. You can lose interest, but there are a lot of unique and fun things to do in Skyrim and a lot of unique different missions. I've loved the series, but my favorite game was honestly Morrowind. Perhaps it was just because it was a completely different experience for me and has stuck with me for that reason, but I've always found it to be the best game of the bunch. In all fairness though, Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim have all been great games. Never played the first two, though I plan on doing so at some point in time. I just recall reading how difficult the first one (I believe) is just to get out of the tutorial. yeah i was a huge fan of oblivion. I remember just waltzing around the map randomly and out of no where stumbling on the house where the knights of the nine lived and then opening a can of whoop ass on all of them for no good reason. I love choices.
