QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Nov 22, 2012 -> 01:17 PM) I'll be going in the afternoon. Really want AC3 for that price. Oh man, if they have the new Hitman game for that price, im so there, ive always loved the Hitman franchise.
  3. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Nov 21, 2012 -> 04:06 PM) So my one weakness this year on my fantasy team has been QB play so I'm taking a flyer on Kapernick. If the 49ers are smart they continue to start him and I think he will be a decent fantasy option. If not I'm back in the same boat I started in which is relying on the awful fantasy duo of Rivers and Cutler. Kaepernick has become a huge deal in my league, if he can put up at least 20 fantasy points per game, hes a steal, and not to mention the guy that picked him up gets to keep him next year for just a 12th rounder.
  4. QUOTE (AntonSox @ Nov 20, 2012 -> 09:14 AM) Thank you very much for the welcome. No it should not be a Lexus, I thought about a watch, it should be something special so may be a Vacheron Constantin. that costs more the same as a lexus, id go with the lexus, unless you already bought her a maserati for halloween
  5. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Nov 19, 2012 -> 07:17 PM) Kyrie Irving out a month with a broken finger. The Cavs just became unwatchable, again. #NBALeaguePass Whew good thing i didnt trade cp3, kevin love and conley for him
  6. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Nov 19, 2012 -> 03:17 PM) Depending on his depth elsewhere, I can't even imagine why he'd make this deal. Even if we say that Peterson is a slight upgrade over Martin, Cobb has still been one of the most productive receivers in the NFL over the past 4-6 weeks. His QB has to be pretty bad and he has to have depth at WR. If it goes through, it's fantastic for you and maybe him, depending on how the rest of his team looks. His receivers are Welker, Reggie Wayne and Desean jackson. His QB is Joe flacco. His Rbs are CJ2k, Martin, and Mendenhall.
  7. My team has no shot at the playoffs so im working on a blockbuster to send to a team thats right on the edge of the playoffs. Im sending: Tom Brady (Not keepable) Adrian Peterson (Not keepable) Hoping to get: Doug Martin (5th round keeper) Randal Cobb (14th round keeper) and Demarco Murray (7th round keeper)
  8. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Nov 19, 2012 -> 02:05 PM) How many teams? 4th round keeper is pretty high. Jacksonville is a nightmare. I agree. Its just that insane performance he put in with Henne was incredible, its definitely a humungo risk, but if he turns into the next AJ Green ill be ok with it. Its a 10 team league
  9. Justin Blackmon is on the waiver wire and im number 1 on the waiver list. If i snatch him up he would be a 4th round keeper in my league.... Worth it? or a just a flash in the pan performance with the new QB?
  10. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Nov 19, 2012 -> 10:49 AM) Ha-ha, you have a girly dog. Its hard finding an apartment in Chicago where they allow big dogs, plus i hate having to clean up poo thats bigger than mine every time i take ol sparky out for a walk.
  11. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Nov 19, 2012 -> 09:59 AM) At the end of the day, dogs are wild animals, we NEVER have control over them. Hell yes. My little rat terrier dog is one of the nicest dogs in the world with everyone that meets him humans and dogs alike, hes well trained and goes to day care almost every day, and last week a family member of mine brought her 3 year old daughter to my apartment and that little rat terrier of mine lost it and was trying to attack her for no reason. Thankfully he is a 10 pound animal that I can control with one hand. Trying to control a dog that is a giant muscle with legs and has massively powerful jaws is a different story. Im not against pit bulls by the way like i said earlier, i dog sit a friends Pit all the time and she has never done anything wrong on my watch, but im not ignorant enough to think that just because the dog is trained that animal instinct cant take over at any given moment.
  12. I used to dogsit this pitbull that was the sweetest dog ive ever known, but even so, when it would play with my dog it would seem to forget its own strength. I get why people are afraid of pitbulls, when the owner hands me her pitbull to watch over and tells me to keep the choke collar on at all times when i walk the dog because it will tear my arm off without it, were dealing with some serious strength and possible aggression if it doesnt play nice with other humans
  13. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Nov 18, 2012 -> 05:53 PM) Now projected at 44. I've never seen a team be projected for 135, and end up with 44. I'm so salty right now. This should have been a cakewalk. I always get projected 130+ per week, i never actually get it though. Today was a real stinker: mcgahee 6 morris 7 Amendola 4 Fitzgerald 1 Denarius 0 Scott Chandler 3

  15. The IDF twitter feed is unlike anything ive ever seen in my life. Pretty much a blow by blow recap of the severe ass kicking they are handing Hamas, and its all under an official capacity. Oh and why is Verizon Wireless listed as a twitter account similar to the IDF twitter account?
  16. This stuff is crazy, but Israel does have reason to defend itself. I wouldnt expect the US to stay put if Mexico shot hundreds of rockets into San Diego. The only thing is that our military and the Israeli military play by much different rules. Especially since they are dealing with people that they are openly not fond of, this can escalate into something really ugly since Israel is surrounded by people that want to get rid of them.
  17. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Nov 16, 2012 -> 11:07 AM) I'm tentatively benching Brandon Marshall in favor of Denarius Moore, assuming that Cutler will be out. That sounds good to me.. Ive started Denarius all season long basically and it makes me hate watching the fantasy stat line on sundays. 95% of the game Denarius wont get jack, then you go to the bathroom to drop a deuce in the 4th quarter and come back to see he just got 12 points out of no where.
  18. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Nov 16, 2012 -> 08:50 AM) Oh baby jesus I got so f***ing scared that I started Scott Chandler last night, and then I saw that I made a lineup change and I get to choose between Aaron Hernandez and Greg Olsen. It's been that kinda year for me. I totally forgot the bills played yesterday and left chandler in my starting lineup.. While greg olsen will proceed to catch 200 yards and 3 Tds this weekend on my bench
  19. QUOTE (ewokpelts @ Nov 15, 2012 -> 01:58 PM) they ALREADY reduced tix. $7 and $20 options for ALL games. People are never satisfied, most people I invite to come with me to a sox game dont think of baseball when they envision the idea, they think of yummy ballpark food and booze, with the added bonus of a possible home run celebration. You have to make the non-baseball fans want to come to the park too if you want to put decent amounts of butts in the seats. Well, at least in this two-team town you do.
  20. QUOTE (ewokpelts @ Nov 15, 2012 -> 01:04 PM) The cubs stopped doing that. Also, $5 tickets AND $3 beers? Do you want something bad to happen? Im actually hoping the players on the field get motivated by the amount of fight shown by the drunk frat boys in the bleachers and start showing some heart themselves.
  21. This is a great idea, I think it will work. Now they just need to do $3 dollar beer, $1 hot dog night in the bleachers like they do at Wrigley to cater to the college kids. Theres nothing i hate more than seeing the sox on TV with empty outfield stands.
  22. QUOTE (Jake @ Nov 15, 2012 -> 11:11 AM) This is why there has been measurable success in public housing initiatives that don't simply stuff a building/neighborhood with poor people and instead integrate poor into middle and higher income areas. Excuse my ignorance but are there really programs like that? That sounds like a cool idea, almost like reverse gentrification. My family and I have been displaced twice while living in Chicago, first while living in Roscoe Village, and second living in Logan Square, the property taxes skyrocketed to unrealistic amounts and we were forced to take whatever money they offered and run with it (to a lower income community).
