Well if cleveland is the front runner- it should give KW another reason to sign him. I don't want a solid pitcher like Clement on a opposing central division team. We have to make a statement. And if signing Clement the first off-season statement, then im all for it!! Dec. 7th is soon, this will be interesting!

Rumor has it KW is going after an outfielder as well. According to ESPN's Baseball Tonite, Peter Gammons has stated that the Sox are one of the 6 teams trying to aqcuire Carlos Beltran from K.C. (Once again it was ESPN so who knows if that is true or not) Also what would the Sox have to give up to get him? They would probably want 3 young arms as well as a solid outfielder. Like a package of Diaz, Cotts, Pacheco and Sweeney or Anderson. Its a lot to give up, but then again how many times can a team go for a title push? Especially our Sox!!! If its true I say GO FOR IT KW!!

I'm guessing Ozzie will sit Frank out this series against NY. Look for Jose to miss the series against the Yankees also. He felt pain in his hamstring, and Ozzie doesn't want to rush them back when they are not 100%. So i'm guessing Uribe will play SS and Gload will be the DH during this series. Hopefully they will both be back by the Tampa series on Friday.
