These teams don't match up well for a trade. They would ask for Beckham or Alexie and KW isn't letting either one go.

I predict CQ to the 15 day DL. The Sox will bring Wise up.

This team needs a righty much more than it needs a lefty. . especially with the recent sucess of Richard. Bedard will be traded, but just not to the White Sox.

Make a trade for a stud righty. (I really want Oswalt) Bring up Beckham to replace Josh Fields. A healthy Carlos Quentin, a Scotty 2 step Pods and BA to continue to impress. If those things happen and Clayton Richard proves he can be a dependable starter- we could definitley get back in this.

Cain would be an awesome pick up. Unfortanatley we don't match up with them as far as needs go. I'm sure KW will look into this. . .

Angels are very much in the race and i highly doubt they will deal Chone, but things can change. . Option 2- Be a seller. I give props to KW for attempting to salvage a season that is slowly slipping away but another thing to consider would be to start selling his own players such as Dye, Dotel or even Konerko. Only time will tell but the team as is right now- is bad and won't get better anytime soon. The back of the rotation sucks and the offense is way below average and is too inconsistent.

Peavy is holding the Padres hostage. . . imagine how pissed their organization is about this. . They may be more pissed than the White Sox organization

This would rock the foundation of the White Sox organization. . and likely shock the sports world, especially with all that Peavy to Cubs talk this past winter. Its a much better option than going after Lackey or Bedard this summer for a similar high price. . . Does someone have a link to this rumor? And with all the salaries coming off the books at season's end the Sox would still have a decent amount of cash to aqcuire 1 solid offensive player.
