  1. He is on the trading block from what I hear but I doubt we brng him back.... they wouldnt want Dye/Jose anyways prob want younger guys who are under contract for a longer time.
  2. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Feb 6, 2006 -> 05:46 PM) Yeah, but think about it. What does it say when the six seed in one conference beats the one seed in the other? We all know that the AFC is a whole lot tougher than the NFC, and this just seems like another way of showing it. Ok but when you think about it that six seed also beat the one seed of the AFC so what is there to think about? Also the Steelers are a much tougher team with Big Ben.... because of being hurt they lost some games with Maddux.
  3. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Feb 6, 2006 -> 05:46 PM) He is sorta right on EA. Look at a game like Madden. It sells a ton because fatboy's name is on the cover but they barely change or improve it year after year. But that doesnt change that MVP is sooo much better than the rest in baseball games.... I played 2-3 other ones b4 i ever started on MVP and it wasnt close.
  4. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Feb 6, 2006 -> 05:25 PM) I still find it funny that the worst-ranked team from the AFC playoffs beat the top seed from the NFC. There's just a huge gap between the AFC and NFC. That same team beat the top 3 ranked teams in the AFC as well
  5. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Feb 6, 2006 -> 05:32 PM) Have you played the game yet, or do you work for Sega and 2k sports?? Yeah lol.... its cool to like the game but that whole post should of been in green
  6. QUOTE(SpringfieldFan @ Feb 6, 2006 -> 03:30 PM) Considering how utterly dominant he was in AA, even without the changeup, how do you think he would do if he went back to AA now? I know its pure fantasy, but I just wonder what kind of numbers he would put up down there. SFF If I remember he was more dominant in High A than AA..... but that can go with a lot of prospects... how would Ervin Santana do in AA now or Papelbon or Zach Duke...
  7. Bah buying this game would be like going back rather than forward after MVP 05...... I might rent it once but thats about it.
  8. I won 50 bucks My manager bothered me at work for 4 hours until i bought 3 squares or whatevr for 6 bucks and now i win 50 dollars im going to laugh at him now.
  9. his friends are messed up totally.... If one of my friends did something like that I wouldnt hate him but id be at the very least dissapointed in him.
  10. eh he blew 1 game no love for Jenks.... Garland was really dynamite in the post-season actually.... against Angels like someone else said he owned them and the only runs he gave up were more bad luck than him making a mistake. Than against the Astro's Uribe kind of screwed him that game but he still settled down and kept us in it.
  11. We were talking about Mulder in 2004 so his 2005 stats dont mean much to me. I guess I was wrong about Lopez but idonno maybe I remember him off to a fast start idonno what was his first month stats.
  12. QUOTE(Felix @ Feb 4, 2006 -> 05:09 PM) lol.. Zito's career playoff stats: 3-2, 2.76 ERA, 32.2 IP, 32 K, 11 BB, 1.06 WHIP And yes, Zito is consistant. eh shoot me i just woke up after sleeping on the floor for 5 hours my memory must be a little foggy.
  13. Im pretty sure Lopez and Mulder had like really good first halves of their season and than just kind of let it go in the 2nd half.... im almost 100% positve that was the case with Mulder and maybe 70-80 with Lopez.
  14. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Feb 4, 2006 -> 04:14 PM) He didn't do that for Konerko. And I don't think he was any less interested than Contreras. Contreras just wants to get paid what he's worth, just like Paulie, and KW probably won't offer up to that until after the season because he already has at least 5 locked up. There is a difference PK wanted to resign with us but KW is the one who put it off until the end of the season.... At least thats how I remember it.
  15. Im not saying Zito isnt good....and a course he will give you innings but as a pitcher he isnt consistent....unless you mean first half suckiness and 2nd half being awesome..... than faltering when it gets near playoff time and in the playoffs.
  16. Ozzie Guillen Kenny Williams Frank Thomas(he is still a whitesox to me) should be a fun crowd together if nothing else lol.
  17. I guess I can try this... the Chargers still available?
  18. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Feb 3, 2006 -> 05:04 PM) And it makes me sad. I can remember all too well when he was hurt a few years back and Indy had to rely on guys like Rhodes and Ricky Williams. Rhodes is a fine #2, but he ain't a starter. Idonno Rhodes ran the ball very well if he got over his fumbling problem id say he can be very effective for you guys.
  19. QUOTE(Jenks Heat @ Feb 3, 2006 -> 06:02 PM) Two years ago Manny was owed $100M now he is owed $60M. His production has not tapered off so he is close to worth it. He still had the RBI's but didnt his avg. go down a lot last season.... overall it was a great season but it wasnt as good as a couple of his last seasons.
  20. QUOTE(q\/\/3r+y @ Feb 3, 2006 -> 11:34 AM) A course you would... you consider Zito consistent?
  21. How does that make sense when he was put on the waivers or whatevr just a couple seasons ago when any team could of got him by just picking up his contract.... now they want 2 really good young players and 2 awesome prospects and the team to pickup the whole contract...
  22. QUOTE(Felix @ Feb 3, 2006 -> 03:58 AM) Wins mean basically nothing when analyzing pitchers. Do you really think Contreras, or just about any other pitcher in the league, was better than Roger Clemens last year? Well I wouldnt go that far.... Wins do mean something but yeah they are far from everything.... some pitchers pitch to Win though like if we score 5 runs they will give up 4 if we score 3 they give up 2 and so on.... I think Jack McDowell was a lot like that.
