Try to understand this guys. Freddy Garcia is a FLY BALL pitcher in a PITCHER'S PARK! Besides that we have no chances of signing him to a second year. Why not go after Livian Hernandez who we known will be here at least 2 years and isn't a fly ball pitcher. Freddy will give up way too many HR's and you will all be b****ing when it costs us the playoffs. The only way I take him is if it's for Jon Rauch straight up and the Mariners take half of his salary. Considering what a tee ball stand he'd be in our ball park thats actually overpaying. Hernandez is just better in every imaginable way...Plus we have him two years...

I think that Harris will be fine. Uribe i'm not quite as sure on but hopefully he will be ok...

I think we have something potentially even better that we are missing. It looks like we got at least a decent hitting infielder which means maybe we will no longer have to put up with Kelly Dransfelt.... God I hope so....

I've noticed that too out of Brando. It seems the only player he defends is Jose "I'm batting .240 and have struck out in 59 times" Valentin. We can beat the cubs as their rotation is not all it's hyped up to be. Brando stop believing everything you read in the Tribune!

Ozzie is making a mistake Manuel made many many many many many many many many many many many many many many {get the picture} many times. A guy like Perez {Or last year it was Daubach} comes on and hits a HR that helps us win a game but doesn't do much else. Then he gets to start for like a week or so. Yes the guy got a lucky hit but you can't give him all these starts because of one HR. The fact is he is not hitting righties well. The fact is that he has an on base percentage of .288 and a batting average of .255. It's a shame that a guy with so much heart as Rowand who has the talent suffers from thing again and again.

Politte should of been shipped to flordia with Billy Botch. Maybe we can send him down to AAA and hopes someone claims him off of waivers. Seriously he is reason this game was lost. Although I do disagree with certain moves ozzie made politte just sucked plain and simple.... Ohh well stay positive and get the EXPOS.... GO SOX!

In defense of some of these guys: Lee (Good. Yes) Perez (Can get lazy at times, still poor) Gload (Average) Harris (He's a Second Basemen, nuff said) Arow (Has the best outfield arm on the team and is one of our best at getting to balls hit in the gaps) Maggs (Always has been a better defensive RF then he has been given credit for) Sadly I totally agree with you on the bullpen. As soon as Pollitte came in I knew that it was over. However Cotts and Adkins I would rate as Above Average when they are confident and on their game. Sadly Cotts hasn't been the same since that starting fiasco and I think it might be best if we just let him work as a starter in AAA for the rest of the year.

I wouldn't trade Reed for Garcia in a million years but I would trade Reed for Hernandez in a second because Hernandez we would have at least 2 years. I agree potential is just that. Hernandez is money!

Carlos went after a fly ball that was hit right to him. Timo was the only only one that just stood their.

I'm sick of all of this support Timo just because he happened to hit a HR. Two times there were fly balls that he could of had a shot at had he moved but he just stood there. One went foul while Konerko hustled for it... The other dropped for a single. ...and it doesn't matter that it didn't score lead to a run. Mistakes can hurt you and it's ridiculious that we should ignore it just because it didn't hurt us that time. The fact is even if Rowand and Gload wouldn't of had it they would of at least tried. If Timo finds he has to run it seems he'll just give up lately. Timo needs to discover something called hustle, otherwise there is no room for him on this team. I don't care if he does have a lucky hr once in a blue moon.

This team was set up for failure. I'm not just talking about no Frank Thomas. I'm not just talking about a struggling Shoe. I'm talking about the most irresponsible and idioctic move I have ever seen in baseball. Jose Valentin hitting clean up! As soon as I saw that I knew the game was over. That brings me to ask why in the world Ozzie was tempted to put our most streaky hitter in such a crucial spot. I know Ozzie has some Jose lovefest (Most likely because it makes his own performance at shortstop look like a hall of fame career) but there is no excuse for Jose EVER EVER EVER to be in that spot. Ok had to vent that.... GO SOX AND GET THEM TOMMARROW!

If Crede can bat .250 by the all star break that will be great... He has talent and he's only human. He'll be fine.

I hate to be in the minority again but I don't care at this point how many scoreless innings he throws because it wasn't just his performance before that bothered me. The guy is a total headcase. I'm not sure at this point I would move Frank or C Lee. I mean in the clean up hole Carlos has gotten hot {and has a 28 game hit steak to show for it}. If i'm Ozzie and Maggs comes back tommarrow then I put him in the 5 hole. If it ain't broke don't fix it...
