I think we are all missing the point here. Cotts was doing great in the pen, Ozzie decided to try and start him, He lose all his confidence! It's Ozzies fault!

Poor guy... Marte should of never of been out there that inning anyway. Shingo should of been allowed to pitch the entire inning.... Ohh well.

The only reason that I said that Jeremy Reed is overrated is that certain posters say things about his lack of defense and range. I don't know anything else then what i've read on here as I have never seen him play except for spring training games {which he didn't do very well.} All I said by the way is that if we had the chance to trade him for a decent pitcher we should because of the fact that he is far from a sure thing even if he is as solid as you say.

Please.... The guy is on the downside of his Career and his numbers will continue to fall mark my words. If we would of made that trade it would offically killed our hopes for even a .500 season. It would of been worse then the Royals and Juan Gone.

I agree with all but one of your points... We don't need a reliever. One good starter and we are maybe the best team talent wise in the entire american league....

I think that it's a good idea to have the team vote on it. They have a better idea of the situation then we do.

All I know is what I hear reading the boards like these and to me he doesn't sound impressive at all. If we can get something decent out of him before he has a chance to fall back to earth I say do it.

The fact of the matter is that Aaron "Wish I had half the talent of Willie Harris" Miles is a chump. He will never be half the player Harris is, not to mention that we got a guy who will be our starting SS for the next few years in Juan Uribe...

Our offense just needs to wake up and start supporting who we have on a the field... and hopefully that guy is Felix Diaz or Ramon Ortiz...

Yeah we forget that he attacked that poor woman for no reason... Randal Simon should be the last guy we consider picking up unless maybe for a minor league deal.
