Garland can get the job done. Its time for KW (or Hahn) to settle down and see how the new additions pan out.

The Dodgers would be more interested in Daubach. I've heard some Dodger fans talk about getting him. Dauber was a pretty good player with Boston, has alot of pop, and could put up numbers when they play him consistently. DLo can provide more offense at their top of the order. Throw in a decent prospect and I think we could land ourselves a guy like Quantrill (it would take more to get Mota), they could even throw in Shuey to dump some salary.

We seriously need bullpen help. I think Daubach, Jimenez, and a decent prospect can get us a guy like Mota or Quantrill from the Dodgers.

I heard him on an interview yesterday down here in Anaheim after his game w/ the Angels. He said he'll be glad to come here and glad that the Sox think hes part of the missing piece. He also said he'll enjoy playing next to guys like Magglio and Konerko (wait until he sees Paulie's stats). My question is, can this guy bunt?

Hell, if we win the world series this year (Im dreaming), then I would have no complaints whatsoever. A WS is a once-in-a-lifetime chance and you give up whatever you have to give up just for a shot at it. I just dont think Everett will help us get to the promised land. Man, look what a couple deals have done to us, talking about winning the world series.

Yesterday night I heard that we got Everett and I was f***ing pissed. We do not need this f***ing nuthead to swing for his little sweet fences everytime. Geez, dont we have enough players like that?? Our fundamentals go even LOWER than it has been and that does not f***ing help. And worse, we most likely got rid of Cotts or Honel, so our system is pretty f***ed up. The one positive that I can think of is that KW is finally trying. Whether that is a good thing or not remains to be seen..

So you would take Sosa over Pujols? Everett started off red hot with 14 homers and a .300 average for the first three months and have done s*** since then. And his attitude rumors dont help, so KW, please dont get ripped off once again.

That trade would be dumb as hell. Why cant KW steer away from guys that get in trouble and guys that dont try? Dont let Everette's numbers fool you, this guy is old and will fall down on his face in the second half.

Our bullpen is FAR from solid. The only guys we ever use are Koch, Marte, Gordon, and White. I wouldnt feel so giddy handing a 2-1 lead to ANY of those guys at this point.

I wouldnt want any of the players on that list. Im just praying that we dont get Weaver for Cotts. Our rotation is solid enough and we dont need that punkass to add any more trouble. That would be a huge mistake that will haunt us for a long time. I doubt the Sox will swing another deal.

A solid player??? Have you seen him play? I give him credit for that game-winning hit, but have you seen how many games he already cost us? This guy half-asses every play out there and have you seen him hit with RISP? How many times has he struck out/popped up with man on third with 1 out?? And this guy has NOT been hitting, just look at his batting average after the first couple of months. And dont even mention his glove... Dont let the stats fool you, Robby is 5 times the player DLo is. Great defense, veteran leadership, good speed, smart baserunner...And we dont even have to pay this guy's salary.
