I wouldn't trade Cease for anyone at the trade deadline TBH. Madrigal could be a trade piece for a guy like Trea Turner. I'd do Madrigal + Crochet I think (and some small minor leaguer pieces) but that's the most I'd go. Still would hate to lose Madrigal.

Mariners get: Abraham Toro Joe Smith Astros get: Kendall Graveman Rafeal Montero Graveman the prize here, maybe the Mariners feel they have something with Toro? More control? Graveman IMO was the best RP get on the market for a reasonable cost. Too bad. What do you think?

I wouldn't trade Sheets for Escobar. There's GOT to be somethign else along the lines that we can trade for Escobar. Guy is a 2 month rental. Other than that, good deals and results on the site.

Any Trea Turner talk is probably moot.. if the Mariners are involved they can beat out any offer we have. If the Rays are involved, they can beat out any offer, etc. Our farm system just fucking sucks. Edit: I should note that I don't trade Vaughn/Kopech under any circumstance.

I wouldn't give up Madrigal really. I'd hope to hell that they value Crochet. Start with him, and let them have the field in our minors, take anyone.

It would likely cost Crochet + Madrigal + smaller pieces. That's a heavy bullet, but I would strongly consider if it Turner would play 2b. If it takes Crochet + minor leaguers, then you do it 100% of the time. I have 0 faith in Crochet. He's the #1 person I'd be looking to trade right now. For a Gallo or Turner type.

Been enjoying the royals fan takes on twitter suggesting Julio Rodriguez or Kelenic should be part of the deal :haha:. In all seriousness, this seems to have merit. Whit would be a nice get for the Mariners and they should have some middle level prospects to make the deal happen. Royals should have motivation to get rid of the older superstar who won't be a part of their next successful team. Good match.
