  1. That's a steal of a trade. Of course, I'm not big on Longoria, and Jones has really soured last year, but still, Adam Jones immediately becomes your #1 OF. And while not elite, he is good enough to be a legit OF2 on a championship fantasy squad, borderline OF1. Not only that, but you get Longoria who is a fair starting 3b in fantasy league to go a long with Seagar. All you gave up really was Ramos. Vogt is essentially useless to you (see: posey), and your RP is already a massive strenght. A+ on the trade.
  2. Depends on who is available in the first? If it is solid players, then no, I'd keep Machado.
  3. I agree that you lost the trade short term, but with your insane pitching staff, you should be ok in the short and you grow in the long term. Your OF continues to remain a bunch of above average misfits, but Granderson's power could be solid for your lineup. Any luck on the front of 2-for-1 deals for a more elite OF option?
  4. They sort of hinted at it with the Dudleys talking about the tables, but yeh, I agree with you.
  5. Yes, I also bet LON wins @ roadblock setting up the title match at mania. That seems to make the most WWE sense. I wouldn't call it a terrible move, but it is lackluster compared to what they have. The New Day is a great tag team for the division, league of nations (while being somewhat boring) is another team that is formidable. Reminds me of some good 90's teams where the teams had meaning and continuity. (not saying their in ring skills are great or bad). On the other hand, they could have had some more build up, some other teams involved that it seems they have, and had a more entertaining match up. (TLC?)
  6. I agree, but, doesn't that seem absolutely insane? The guy that is to headline Wrestelmania, can't be on the program because he will get booed ? What do they think would happen at WM? I have to think there is other reasons....
  7. Yeah, I thought the show was average, started off so well. The main event scene is horrible. I'm with the other poster who said Ambrose isn't doing much for me. Just not working out at all. And he's the one I like the best out of Reigns / HHH. Is it weird how Reigns is supposed to be the main event of WM, but isn't on the past two Raws? Why?
  8. So, Y2J turns on AJ styles, I would think this guarantees a matchup at Wrestlemania cumulating their feud. Not sure how I feel. Should be a great match, but we've seen a lot of this so far.
  9. Crowd is great, loving it right now. Makes wrestling so much more enjoyable.
  10. Hm, interesting opening. Not sure I like Shane 'o in fashionable clothes owning a team of 4 security guards.
  11. Okay cool, I'm excited for that. So awesome that Raw is in Chicago tonight. Going to enjoy this.
  12. any background on this Sami guy? Why is he so well known / good?
  13. Absolutely wonderful. As others have stated -- this is the move that completes the deal. Trading for Frazier, and acquiring Lawrie were the big moves, but they were insufficient with such large holes in DEF and Avi having a starting gig guranteed. This move puts the glue together and makes it a complete offseason. While a more effective OF would have been lovely, perhaps that was wishful thinking. Getting Rollins + Jackson instead of Desmond + Fowler is still acceptable and puts us in a position to compete with a solid squad. More work could be done, but now i'm in.
  14. Big game today, we get to see a lot of very interesting things happen when the ball hits the bat. Be on the look out.
  15. Why the hate for LaRoche this early? I would get it if he's just doing awful throughout spring training, but didn't he hit a homer in his first or second game? Wouldn't it be reasonable that their might be a bit of a bounce back this year? He's owed money, so why not see if there is a bounce back, I agree that he should be immediately replaced if there are no signs of such bounce back. Danks on the other hand... I haven't heard much good from him in years.
  16. No idea why, but apparently a few of their fans were well behind the idea in the comment section.
  17. @WhiteSoxLifer, that article's comment section is a fun read. Someone proposed a Ben Paulsen + Cargo for LaRoche + Adams (prospect) trade. Uh, hell yeah. I dig some Paulsen.
  18. I wish there was a way to know the actual asking prices of players in a situation like this. I have to think that the Rockies GM is more intelligent than asking for Q, whom we require for this season to be competitive if we were to trade for Gonzo.
  19. Nice one LaRoche . I think he has a bounce back this year.
  20. The signing itself does not necessarily imply a move to be made, but the rumor is of more interest (that their are talks going on).
  21. In case it hasn't been posted : http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2016/03/04/lev...r3XM2zs.twitter edit: nvm it's been posted
  22. Wow, this is some nice news to come home to. I don't understand the intricacies of who's who when it comes to rumors, but Rotoworld has reported that from Levine we are pursuing Bruce or Cargo. If this rumor is true, it means we really are looking for that puzzle piece. That's awesome. As others have stated, Bruce isn't anything spectacular, but I wouldn't mind it. He had an injury that curtailed him for the past couple years, he has a lot of power. Not my A+ option, but he shouldn't cost much and I'd be very happy to grab him. Once again, not my ideal offseason OF pick up when so many have gone by, but its much better than nothing at this point. CarGo, on the other hand, would be stellar. I'm, of course, worried about him away from Coors. I'm also worried about his injury rate. But he's a game changer, even if he puts up some 20 HR only. I'd have to think that the Rockies are ok with moving him, but it sure does seem like that organization is truly one with no direction after their RP trade of McGhee for Dickerson.
