  1. Keep Verlander
  2. Kingdom hearts 1.5 HD remix will come to north america in the fall. This will stop all my life activities then.
  3. Yes - these baseball games are what they are. Capitalisms way of putting a product out there every year even though it's essentially the same thing. I would love if they waited 2 years in between games and updated them more. The 2 year wait period would also give the customer more bang for their buck and allow them to really build into the game... but alas, we live in a s***ty system.
  4. The kids reactions are absolutely amazing. I miss being shocked about anything in life like that, let alone sports.
  5. For my money - they need more of an exciting team. very stale, boring team going on right now.
  6. Yes, I am anticipating the ps4 due to new games as well.
  7. Very sad. Was hoping to enjoy some basketball for the first time in a while (I don't get to watch much, but was going to make time for this). Now.... ah well. Shame.
  8. It's a large problem. It's a problem of society, with no honor. Creating players who have to play like this, as it's what they are brought up in. It's the ref's for consistently calling really weak plays, but the pressure, im sure, is put on them with the way violence has broken out. I would be all for a league that calls much fewer fouls, however a flop rule would just not work.
  9. Lebron is just not a player I personally enjoy. I just can't enjoy bball like this.
  10. Very windy tonight I would assume.
  11. Kinda bogus IMO. Holograms like these can change the world, in the wrong ways!
  12. Ballpark prices are bogus. Never buy anything at the ballpark.
  13. Thinking about going to the game today. hm.
  14. I'm going for the platinum in skyrim now. It's a pretty solid game.
  15. WOOHOO YAY BABY YEAH. HOME RUN CITY TIME
  16. For me, it comes down to Rios and Peavy. If these two play as I precieve they should, than I will enjoy the White Sox all year, and re-gain the enthusiasm I have lost for the sox. I used to be a big baseball (White Sox) fan, but now I am nothing more than a fantasy baseball fan. I've no care for any team, just my players. I still have a soft spot in me for the W'sox which is why I check these boards. I want to see Rios bat like he should, when I drafted him on my team for the past 2-3-4 years (whatever it's been), same with Peavy. Beckham, Dunn, Danks, Floyd, all have been rough for me. Will see in this nice new year.
  17. No world series one. There was the perfect game one, also win as every MLB team. A ton of random activities, like have the ball hit off a base, and plow the catcher. Hit 10 home runs in a row in Home Run Derby, and my hardest one was - hit a home run off of a 100mph fastball.
  18. Yes. MLB 12's trophies are 100x easier than years past. I'm sure you could do it if you dedicated yourself to the trophies. It is only a grind - to win 30 games with each team and what not.
  19. Just platnium'd the Show. I think I will take a much needed break off of it for about a week.
  20. So because they have been messing around with me so much, the game glitched. At the end of the year they sent me to the minors, even tho I had 50+ home runs. In the ALCS they brought me back up, and now the system has me down as having my regular season stats cloned as my playoffs stats. So my guy now has '54 home runs, a 371. average, and 140 Rbis' this playoff year. Needless to say, I expect to be breaking all kinds of post season records.
  21. So I have 51 Home runs, 135 RBIs, a few steals, a .367 batting average, yet im considered an MLB bench player, coming off the bench for not doing the required goals (walking). I think my manager threatened to send me to the minors, and now all I do is come off the bench. Worst of all, apparently I don't have the necessary number of at bats per appearances to be considered MVP of the league. Well...
  22. Yes. I'm the Oakland Athletics 2015 starting second basemen. I completely ignore the Walk goals, and while it hurts me from time to time, usually the manager just waves the goals off. In terms of hitting, I have guess pitch turned off, as when you use it, and don't guess right you get penalized harshly. My biggest problem is striking out when I'm in a slump. Also, this is my fourth year, so my guy has had plenty of seasoning. Roughly an 80 in every category (Pow vs. L / R, Con vs. L/R, Speed, Vision). Now that I'm starting and I even have my speed up, I'm starting to swipe more bags (I don't do the baserunning or fielding, I let the computer do that, I just hit.) which is giving me even more points. It's an exponential growth. By Year 2017 I expect to just dominate the mlb with the way I am going up in stats. Edit: I have the most home runs in the league at 28 just after the all-star break. The MVP race is down to Me, Prince, and Miggy. My .avg is slipping to .308 tho.
  23. I'm doing well so far in my 4th year. Over .320 average, 15 home runs and about 50 RBIS before the all star break. Although I am using sliders to my advantage. I've really learned to be patient at the plate, it is extremely important.
