Yes. I'm the Oakland Athletics 2015 starting second basemen. I completely ignore the Walk goals, and while it hurts me from time to time, usually the manager just waves the goals off.
In terms of hitting, I have guess pitch turned off, as when you use it, and don't guess right you get penalized harshly. My biggest problem is striking out when I'm in a slump.
Also, this is my fourth year, so my guy has had plenty of seasoning. Roughly an 80 in every category (Pow vs. L / R, Con vs. L/R, Speed, Vision). Now that I'm starting and I even have my speed up, I'm starting to swipe more bags (I don't do the baserunning or fielding, I let the computer do that, I just hit.) which is giving me even more points. It's an exponential growth. By Year 2017 I expect to just dominate the mlb with the way I am going up in stats.
Edit: I have the most home runs in the league at 28 just after the all-star break. The MVP race is down to Me, Prince, and Miggy. My .avg is slipping to .308 tho.
