  1. QUOTE(sircaffey @ May 22, 2005 -> 12:58 PM) Is Eddie a free agent after this year? Or is the 3 year, 15 mil contract in it's 2nd year? Second year and 2006 is a team option worth seven million.

    QUOTE(Spiff @ May 16, 2005 -> 01:53 PM) When Katie Holmes is prominently involved, that is pretty much assured! Yummy.
  4. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ May 21, 2005 -> 03:42 PM) AJ behind the plate again, no walks. There is no way you can convince me that his resurgence is not directly due to the Sox signing one AJ Pierzynski. Contreras had one walk.
  5. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ May 21, 2005 -> 03:38 PM) He would have had to hit leading off the 8th, and at the time we were trailing 1-0 and needed base runners. It was the right move, no doubt. Then ozzie decides timo is the best option to get on base...
  6. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ May 21, 2005 -> 03:13 PM) Awesome job by the top of the order today. Harris and Podsednik did a stellar job in working the count, and both got on base today twice -- I believe Pods got on three times. You kidding me? Willie swung at a 3-1 pitch today.
  7. QUOTE(sin city sox fan @ May 21, 2005 -> 03:07 PM) I told ya he'd take him deep!!!! WTG Jermaine!!!! I love you.
  8. How the f*** does henry f***ing blanco double off of politte?
  9. QUOTE(Queen Prawn @ May 21, 2005 -> 02:37 PM) LMAO!!!!!!!!!!! The Count is still pitcher of record for the Sox, right? Yes. He definitely deserved it.
  10. QUOTE(Queen Prawn @ May 21, 2005 -> 02:31 PM) Speechless...he didn't make an out and actually did good?! Well it should have been an out but patterson misplayed it.
  11. QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ May 21, 2005 -> 02:25 PM) Why didn't Scotty go home???? My guess is he didn't want to get out.
  12. QUOTE(Jabroni @ May 21, 2005 -> 02:25 PM) I love Willie swinging on a 3-1 count. LOL.
  13. QUOTE(robinventura23 @ May 21, 2005 -> 02:09 PM) Who is their closer today? Dempster.
  14. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ May 21, 2005 -> 01:52 PM) And I doubt Zambrano will be out there for the 7th. Losar.
  15. QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ May 21, 2005 -> 01:26 PM) Did you see how Carl charged the ball? He looked like a little leaguer. Keep in mind Nefi had gotten a little shaken up on the last play. Keep in mind dye has been awful throwing from the outfield the entire year. Awful.
  16. QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ May 21, 2005 -> 01:24 PM) Dye could have thrown him out.. Or over throw every body.
  17. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ May 21, 2005 -> 01:08 AM) So? No one can convince Oakland would have faired worse if Hudson/Mulder were still pitching for Team Beane. Why not hold onto Hudson/Mulder, and if the team falters midseason trade for necessary pieces? But of course, most supported this trade because he is Billy Beane. Apparently, trades involving predominamtly unproven players exceeds the need of assembling a contending club with proven winners. All this, of course, is configured before the team took the field.GENIUS! And it's showing this season! They had no intention of resigning either hudson or mulder. Trading them now rather than mid season or never trading them and just letting them walk seems like a foolish move for any orginization especially the a's. They got some very good prospects in return whether it looks like that or not at this point.
  18. QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ May 20, 2005 -> 04:32 AM) he isn't MVP-worthy because he isn't one of the best NBA players and any PG in his position could have done the same... Well we all know he is great on one side of the floor then not so much on the other. No mvp has ever been like that in history i don't see the reason for that to change, yet it did. I also never said any point guard in his position could do the same thing as him. I named the ones that could put up similar results and lead the suns to the a similar season for much cheaper no less.

    CSI a la Tarantino

    Tarantino wants to get into television more. Wants to direct a show of his own. Don't really know how well that would pan out.
