I really want him hitting ninth. At least until he can learn how to bunt and how to be dangerous on the bases. If he is batting ninth we would have a damn strong offense.
I do not believe that he is on the trading block. I mean come on you do not trade a top 5 lead-off hitter that is not making an extraordinary amount of money.
Gordon will score about 10-12 a game this year. 15 if he does gets the ball a s*** load.
I feel curry will finally break out this year and average twenty a game now that he is finally in shape.
I feel he can have an era right around 4 once out of boston. I don't think he will ever have an era in the 2's or even 3's again as a starting pitcher.
Outside of strikeouts and batting average valentin has been just as good if not better than cabrera. defensively he is better than cabrera according to zone rating and range factor. But he is worse when it comes to errors.
The option is for 8 million. But i feel they do not want what happened to them this year happen again next year. I mean brown is injury prone as is orlando hernandez. Mussina is also getting up there in age. Main thing is they are the yankees and have the many to spend.
Nice post. But as cheat realized yesterday the yankees have a team option for lieber. Seems pretty certain that they will resign him at least at this moment.
I myself would like to go after radke or lowe because i feel like they are the most realistic fit and best fit for our park.
I agree with every thing you have to say. While shaq may be declining he is still head and shoulders over the centers in the east. He will score 25 a game, ten or more boards and 2.5 blocks a game this year i feel. At least.
Have to hand it to shuerholtz for getting estrada for millwood. Millwood has pitched like s*** for the money he is making. While on the other hand estrada was damn good this year and made practically made practically nothing.
I have heard the tigers were interested and that the red sox may want to resign him. But never the phillies. Do you know where you heard that from? Just curious.
I feel that they would because brown is very susceptible to injury and they most likely don't want to run into the same problem they had this year pitching wise.
