  1. We sign one of perez, clement, radke, morris. Book it.
  2. Was it his fault that the offense did not score runs? He did his part but the offense did not do theirs.
  3. Grilli is 27 and has not proven much in the minors. He is not a starter at the major league level. Garland will also not get 4 million a year. More like 2.5-3 million a year.
  4. But he is doing what all other three and fours are around the league. Did i mention he has so much potentional? :rolly
  5. The reason wells was pitching so bad i believe is because of his injury. In the last two years he had era's of 3.50 and 3.28. He has hardly ''sucked''.
  6. Which makes no sense to me. How was he no better than cotts, adkins, and mike f***ing jackson? Going into the year our bullpen was really no better than the rangers.
  7. Who do you have in mind that is available to throw to the recievers. Trades rarely ever happen in the nfl during the season.
  8. Sosa is a different story, it is more than a rumor same goes with bonds.
  9. Do you not expect us to sign a free agent pitcher this off-season? For the most part terrible starters in free agency will make more than 1 million
  10. Steroids have helped alot of players careers in general. Also do you have any reason to believe he was on steroids?
  11. I think they would be willing to trade him because from what i heard he is really disliked there. But not exactly the player i would like to have since he is a such a prick.
  12. 1989 Brown's first full season. Era- 3.35 not exactly a garland type year. 1990 Era- 3.60 not exactly a garland type of year. 1991- Era of 4.40 getting closer to a garland type of year but not quite there. 1992- Era of 3.32 not exactly a garland type of year. 1993- Era of 3.59 not exactly a garland type of year. 1994 Era of 4.82 garland type of year. 1995- Era of 1.89 Pedro type of year. And the beat rolls. Don't know why you would compare brown to garland but they are nothing alike at all.
  13. How do you figure? There are plenty of free agent pitchers out there that are better than him that will only be getting arounf 8 million. Morris, perez, radke and clement are all better and they will be lucky to get on average 8 a year.
  14. Never said it should be o.k. butwe all basically knew he would be a one year wonder.
  15. Did anyone really ever expect loaiza to duplicate or or get near what he did last year? I know i was thinking more along the lines of a 4 era.
  16. Thing is people like jeckle constantly mention how good he has been for us this year. But he has been our third starter all year long and we can't live with our third starter having an era hover around 5. Third starters can't just keep you in the game they have to win you more than they lose. I am not considering contreras anything more than a four until he starts throwing more fastballs. Which does not seem to likely to happen any time soon.
  17. I always hear people saying that but where the hell did they get that from? His sinker hardly sinks his fastball is straight the majority of the time and he hangs a s*** load of breaking balls. Sure sounds like an ace in the making to me. :rolly
  18. Sad thing is we should never be a small market team. Being in chicago and all.
  19. That is the downside to him he is a total f***ing prick. Has always been known for being selfish and disrespectful towards all his teammates. But he does put up pretty damn good numbers for cheap.
  20. Well if we got beltran i am sure we could trade everett for some sort of relief help early. Which is always needed especially since i do not want to see all of cotts, diaz, adkins in the pen.
  21. You would be thinking of frankie fransico.
  22. Do whatever you would like just thought it would be easier. He is right they are pretty different from each other so they should probally both stay seperate.
  23. They did not have 3-4 years like garland has had to step up. That is a big difference about those three.
  24. Can the two threads possibly be combined?
  25. From rotoworld. Angels suspended outfielder Jose Guillen for the rest of the season and the playoffs for inappropriate conduct following his removal from Saturday's game. Guillen became animated after he was replaced by a pinch-runner Saturday, and things must have got very heated in the clubhouse after the game. The Angels are trying to suspend him without pay, so there's a good chance we'll see a grievance here. It also seems likely that the Angels will seek to trade him this winter. Guillen is in the middle of a two-year, $6 million contract with an option for 2006. Despite his attitude problems, the Angels will get decent value should they move him. With Guillen out, the team will probably use a platoon of Jeff DaVanon and Adam Riggs in left field for the rest of the season. Sep. 26 - 9:12 pm et So it looks like he will be some where else next year. Looks like they would be willing to move him next year since they have had some other problems besides this with him.
