''Eric Byrnes' salary is only $328,000 this year. He'll be eligible for his first year of arbitration so you can figure he'd get about $1.5-$2.0 million - about the same as Aaron Rowand will get.''
Is what black betsy said in New Trade Idea, Add a good pitcher and a "grinder" thread.
-Carl Everett-2-Year-7.5M w/ 2006 5M option-$3 million for one year, $7.5 million for two seasons or $12 million for three years. He receives a $3 million salary in 2004 and a $4 million player option for 2005. If he exercises it, team would get a $5 million team option for 2006 with a $500,000 buyout-ChiSox
While he is a better overall hitter he is not a better overall player. Beltran wants a ridiculous amount of money though so i would take a healty maggs over beltran but who no if maggs will ever be the same player.
If clement was are best sign i would be happy since i consider him better than koskie who says we do not sign clement and koskie then trade either lee or konerko to upgrade else where.
I agree that is a good idea. I have seen that on several other forums including the marlins, blue jays, braves, cubs , red sox, and yankees all have it like that.
