I never knowlingly used?
He would have to eat like 220 grams of protein a day and stay in the gym 2-3 hours a day to keep that size, which is kind of the opposite reason he would take steroids, easy gain. I guess I'm the big head of the group with a size 8 head and 13 shoes. But then I'm only 6'2 190 pounds.

We still have stuff to be proud of. We have scored 1 more run than the Pirates this year. YAY!

Brian Roberts would look pretty good at 2B for a few years.

At least Iguchi's poor plate performance is affecting his defense, it's nice to finally see some consistency in this lineup.

Leaver Walker alone. He's a good hitting coach, as the Twins announcers said so. Though something seems wrong about that...

5/9
Justin Edwards is flying up our prospect lists, still won't be 20 until September or October. Also, someone please tell Jason Rice to work on his control, he has always put up nasty K numbers.

So does it bother anyone else that AJ won't frame any pitch that's close to being a strike? That just annoys the hell out of me.

White Sox vs. Mariners, 5/2/07 (L)
Ozzie said he would quit if we aren't winning, and we are 12-13 now. It's time for him to honor his loudmouthed word, and take Walker with him.

Official 2007 NFL Draft Thread
Wanted to get one final shot in at John Bunting. With his recruiting, UNC finally snapped their 36 year streak of having atleast one player drafted. Thanks John.

Great pick-up Bears fans, I'm glad someone is enjoying some good draft picks.

Browns gave up an extra 2nd round pick for a top 10 QB. Even if the Browns were in the top 10 next year they are still going to pay Quinn less at 22 than they would a top 10 QB next year, another bonus. Not to mention Quinn is almost a hometown guy there as well.

Great draft by the Browns, crappy to say.

Sox hats all over the NFL Draft
Can't go wrong with Willis wearing a Sox hat, he's a really good character guy as well. Was thrilled to see that.

2nd-3rd round would be logical for Booker. He has amazing talent, and has a fresh body from under-use at FSU. Not sure if he's an everydown back though.

Having MJ accidentally bump into recruits is a nice thing. Although sending Shavlik Randolph a picture of MJ wearing a "Shav country" T-Shirt didn't seem to help UNC.

College Football Tidbits
I fell out of my chair with Tom O'Brien at 13th in the nation. The guy is 75-45 in his 10 years at BC at 58 years old. Averages 7.5 wins a year I'll compare him to my school's two coaches, Mike Leach and Butch Davis. Mike Leach: 56-33 in his 7 years at TTU at 46 years old. Averages 8 wins a year. Butch Davis: 51-20 in his 6 years at Miami at 56 years old. Averaged 8.5 wins a year at Miami while bringing them back from probation before his arrival and setting Coker up for a national title the year after he left. At worst, Leach is O'Briens equal, nevermind that he's 12 years younger. All 3 coaches have always run clean programs, so that's a wash. Davis above O'Brien is a no brainer. I knew the list was a joke when I saw Grobe in the top 5, that's hilarious. Amazing what one good year will get you on that list. Ok, just noticed Steve Kragthorpe was ranked above Ralph Friedgen, this list looks like it was drawn from a hat.

Yikes, 1 square on a camping visit would leave you with very muddy hands.
