Concerns are something you need to forget about once playoff time comes because if the Sox manage to beat these teams than they are ready. A bad road trip will get us desperate as hell because this team can be very streaky. They win 4 and end up losing 4. I’m tired of that s***. I’m here to support a winning team not a losing team. The Sox know the 2nd half is much more important and they will give it all they have in order to be champions of their division. Winning is not a choice, it’s a priority.

There’s really a lot of plays that will be remembered this year. Such as that Triple Play, but the Sox ended up losing that game If I were to choose which is my favorite play I would have to say Shingo’s first save here in the States. I attended the game (I believe it was the Braves vs. Sox). Everyone was able to see what a big smile Shingo put on once he got the save

IMO, Esteban did great. I would rather take his performance instead of Zambrano’s since he let a RBI triple go by. Batters Loaiza faced at the All-Star: Edgar Renteria - Ground ball to Alex Rodriguez Albert Pujols - Comeback ground ball! Barry Bonds - Walk (I don’t blame him) Scott Rolen - Single Sammy Sosa - Ground out to Alfonso Soriano Esteban did a great job. Every single person in the National League lineup is pretty much dangerous. E-Lo threw a scoreless inning and made the White Sox look good. And talking about the speed of Loaiza’s pitches, I mostly saw nothing but 86-88. It seems like all he throws is that. Never have I seen him hit 94 this year. Randy Johnson who’s 40 can still throw in the 90’s and Loaiza who is just 32 is having a hard time.

The Cubs may let go Clement. You only need 4 pitchers in the playoffs and at this moment they don’t really need Matt. He has that 7-8 record with a very good ERA, but when he gets up on the mound he gets absolutely no run support. If they do give him up, the Cubs always have Rusch.

The Sports section in my morning newspaper has it that Carlos Lee leaps against the wall to rob Seattle's Raul Ibanez of a homer in the third inning Sunday. I look at the photo still they took of Lee and the ball was going over the fence for a solo HR.
