  1. Nice performance by El Duque, very good pitching by Marte and Hermanson (who continues to shut down the offense) and clutch hitting by Timo Perez.
  2. And That's a White Sox Winner!!!
  3. Mr. Zero A.K.A Dustin Hermanson is in!
  4. So who should go for the save?
  5. HELL YES!!!!!!
  6. Come on AJ!
  7. Damn... Batista is coming out of the bullpen. I agree. Get Rowand to pinch hit for Timo.
  8. I just noticed that Hawkins has a career 4.82 ERA.
  9. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 6, 2005 -> 06:32 PM) In the Bottom of the 1st in Game 1, the DRays just put up back to back triples against Santana to take a 1-0 lead. Excellent!

That’s nothing. There’s a poster over at the Star Wars message board that has 100,000+ posts. Now that’s something.
  11. I had absolutely no idea that the White Sox were playing this afternoon till I tuned into CSN like at 2:40. I was shocked to see Contreras with such a strong performance. Definitely deserved the win. Our offense... that’s a different story.
  12. Well, I hope Carlos doesn’t only have success against the Cubs. Its better if he hits well against every opposing team, except the White Sox of course because we go up north later in the season.
  13. Wow... that’s too bad for Jose. I hope he recovers quickly and gets back to playing. That way he can strike out 3 out of 4 times.
  14. I saw Turnbow pitch for the first time this afternoon and that man looks incredible. One of his fastballs reached 98mph! That is sick. The Brewers have a pretty good bullpen...
  15. Go Carlos Lee!
  16. Let's go BULLS!!!!
  17. Will this guy (Kerry Wood) ever be 100% healthy???
  18. QUOTE(KipWellsFan @ May 1, 2005 -> 07:12 PM) Umm I think xXx should be in 3rd with just under 14 million. You're right. I screwed up by not adding XXX up there. But I fixed it just now.
  19. Happy Birthday, Al Lopez's Ghost!!!
  20. 1.) The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy $21,707,000 2.) The Interpreter $14,248,000 3.) XXX: State of the Union $12,712,272 4.) The Amityville Horror (2005) $8,100,000 5.) Sahara $6,000,000 What was expected to be an explosive frame to kickstart the summer box office ended up becoming the tenth consecutive down weekend for Hollywood as a pair of big-budget action films failed to ignite overall ticket sales. Capturing the top spot with a solid launch was the sci-fi entry The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy but the action sequel XXX: State of the Union was clobbered in its launch and finished in third place despite a heavy marketing push. Industry hopes for a much-needed rebound as the summer blockbusters start lining up for takeoff were dashed. Despite the openings of two major contenders, the top ten inched up a mere 4% compared to last weekend and slipped 2% versus last year when no summer blockbusters were launched.

    QUOTE(YASNY @ May 1, 2005 -> 03:52 PM) If you can't win 60 ... you don't matter. True.
  22. Not to mention that the Twins lose. Santana pitched a two-hitter, but both hits were homeruns.
  23. Yep, seems like Jesus went through crucification again this afternoon.
  24. Happy Birthday, Backman!!!
  25. Congratulations, Pedro! Can’t wait till we see him play more regularly up here in the majors. He looks like a very good prospect.
