K ... White Sox winner!!!

I stopped watching the game right after Paul Konerko hit that blooper in the infield with men on 1st and 2nd. I had baseball practice so I couldn’t see the conclusion of the game till I got home. I saw the score on ESPN and I nearly fell to the floor! Very nice win by the Sox.

Too bad for Pedro. He could have won his first game in just his first performance of the season. For him, it is just going to seem like forever staying with the Mets. Same for Beltran.

How the hell did Cincinnati beat the Mets!? New York was winning by a score of 6-3 when I last checked. Wow...

Very good performance by Buehrle. Looked excellent. I really believe he is going to be a 20 game winner this season and today showed what he is capable of doing against good offensive lineups. Just heard this horrible news on ABC. To what I heard, they said Buehrle might be out for 2 to 4 weeks. I don’t want Buehrle to be rushed. He still has the possibility of winning 16 games for us when he comes back or losing 16 games if he gets rushed. Brandon McCarthy has looked very good in Spring Training and I am not against him being in our rotation. If he does get to pitch in the rotation than I can see him pitching better than Contreras and Garland. I just hope he doesn’t have any bad luck if he does pitch up here.

No doubt he is dominating opposing hitters here in Spring Training. Went 6 innings allowing 2 unearned runs! Not to mention that he allowed his first walk of the Spring Training. He’s just like Buehrle, IMO. He knows how to throw strikes and gets outs right away. We got a look at how he pitches out of jams this afternoon and he does a good job of it. I’m hoping we can see him in our rotation for next season.

Man, the Cubs are getting a very good taste of our 2005 White Sox. Our starting lineup for today has more minor leaguers than starting players. Would be awesome if this game were tournament.
