  1. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Feb 23, 2005 -> 03:27 PM) I hope he gets back soon for the NBA's sake. I like watchin him play. I agree. Not only do I enjoy watching him play, but I also enjoy watching the Heat play. I’ve seen a couple of games when the Heat is playing and Shaq and Wayde are fun to watch. If Miami loses Shaq than they can be in serious trouble.

  5. QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Feb 22, 2005 -> 08:58 PM) I think he's trying to do what Arnold did. A star does not live on action roles alone but also has to play the loveable family guy as well. Yeah, but the question is, Is Vin Diesel really a star? Comparing him to one of the best action stars ever really isn’t fair. It’s just really no comparison. Nice sig, BTW.
  6. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Feb 22, 2005 -> 08:13 PM) Right where all stuff related to this topic should be...sex lies and politics. Couldn't have said it better myself.

  8. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Feb 22, 2005 -> 12:38 PM) [dials Mreye] Now that is showing a lack of class and being just plain inconsiderate! Now please, someone ban this man!
  9. Happy Birthday, Soxfan562004!!!
  10. QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Feb 21, 2005 -> 12:50 PM) Let's brainstorm; name some shows that bottomed out with the introduction of new characters. No, no, no. They don’t need new characters. What they need is to get off the air. Seasons 94-97 are pure gold; the rest is pure garbage.
  11. I've only read 'Fear and Loathing' and that was fantastic. 'The Rum Diarys' is on my list. It's sad news, seemed quite a destructive character from what i've heard.

    Films

Went to Wal-Mart yesterday and checked out the section where they have DVD’s for like $5.50. I know those DVD’s are usually crappy, but two of them grabbed my attention and I bought them. Below are the films I viewed. Barabbas (1962) Surprisingly good. A little over two hours, but well worth it. Story about the man who was spared from death instead of Jesus. His whole life is a living hell. He sees himself working in the mines, is trained to be a gladiator, and later discovers his faith when he himself is crucified. Grade: B+ Total Recall (1990) I’ve seen this movie plenty of times before, but I just had to buy the Special Edition on DVD. Again, for the price of 5.50, this is a good buy. Film has very good action and very good humor. Grade: A
  13. I didn’t see the episode last night, though I do have to admit that I’m surprised Patti is gay. The Simpsons just don’t get my attention any more. They try to hard to make the show funny, but they obviously fail. Now they’re saying that they’re going to end the show by putting the Simpsons on the big screen? :puke BTW, Conan needs to come back!
  14. Where’s Man of Steel? I’m pretty sure he’ll get a kick out of this.
  15. Happy Birthday, ElrockinMT!!!
  16. Shouldn't this Nascar thread be in the SLaP forum?
  17. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Feb 10, 2005 -> 09:37 PM) Contreras is god-awfully inconsistent and could very well be our #5 starter, and his 5.30 ERA, 1.54 WHIP, and his K/BB of just over 1.5 last year with us agrees with me. Dammit! I meant to say Hernandez! *feels stupid as hell* :banghead
  18. I wouldn’t be surprised if Shingo ends up with an ERA under 2. He did good last year knowing that it was his first year here in the MLB. So he was practically a rookie. He’s more comfortable now that we have Dustin Hermanson and Luis Vuscaino in that bullpen. Just let him pitch 1 inning. I’m pretty sure Ozzie knows that by now. And if he doesn’t than I’m pretty sure KW will make sure he knows. Here’s hoping Shingo has a successful year...
  19. QUOTE(Cali @ Feb 11, 2005 -> 02:08 PM) I predict I won't post my predictions until Spring Training is almost over Agreed. Any of our players may get injured in Spring Training and may not even start the season. I hope for the best though. This thread just came a little too early, that’s all.
  20. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Feb 11, 2005 -> 09:26 AM) Instead of playing games in Japan, they go to Australia instead. And it'd be the Yankees vs. White Sox. Australia!? What the FU...
