I know, can you believe it? Sometimes the best moves are the ones not made. There are some people on this site that like to b**** about how JR and KW don't open up the purse strings. And while that is true in some cases... Benson, Guzman, Ortiz, Glaus, Castilla, Pavano were all overpayed. Clement, Beltran, Beltre, Drew and possibly Maggs will be overpayed. Dye, Hermanson were paid market price. KW isn't as dumb as some people like to say he is.

The Dodgers are probably waiting on Beltre. If Beltre signs with someone else, kent will play third. and they'll need Cora. Or if they given up on Hee Seop...Kent will play first...and they'll need Cora. I think it all hinges on Beltre. But i'd love him as our starting 2b.

There is no power off the bench and no real good back up for any of our injury prone players. Sorry, I can't see them doing this. they need to keep either Kong or Lee.

true, but he may be able to either bring some he recruited to Florida, or make a last minute push up until the bowl season. He may have recruited some players in the midwest with Florida that didn't want to go to UF. But, like Zook and will follow him to Illinois. wishful thinking.

Whether the Sox are in the process of signing Dye or not, Kenny can't say anything til it's done, can he? Does that process affect non-tenders?
