  1. I'm usually against media bias posts, but what is Dakich's problems with the Illini?
  2. Alexei crushes fastballs. Should be him then.
  3. Cubs may or may not be close to landing Garza.
  4. Why's that? and what you get in BADM if you don't mind me asking?
  5. OSU was pretty awful tonight. They have no depth and not a lot of PG play at all.
  6. Paul Konerko has a real shot to join the 400 club this season. Adam Dunn has an outside chance. That would put them 47th all time. I don't know why that surprises me as much as it does, especially in Konerko's case.
  7. OSU down at the half against Iowa, who does not have their second leading scorer. Ouch. Also, they went about 6 deep in that first half since they were losing the whole time. I knew Matta didn't changed.
  8. Illini crush Baylor. OSU trying to save the Big 12 from embarrassment tonight.
  9. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Dec 30, 2010 -> 12:36 AM) Maybe because that Iowa club had lost all 5 of its games (4 of which were to top 25 caliber teams) by less than 7 points in each game and in 4 of them, a late drive cost them the game. Maybe because Iowa is a loaded team with a good amount of NFL talent. Illinois lost a lot of close ones too. Hell, they're last 3 losses were by a total of 6 points. That does not make them a great team. You know what does? Winning. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Dec 30, 2010 -> 12:36 AM) There is a reason Iowa was playing the #12 team in the country and there was a reason they weren't huge underdogs. Vegas knows this squad is talented. A lot of that too has to do with Iowa having a larger fan base and being a known name in the CFB world whereas Missouri, well, isn't. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Dec 30, 2010 -> 12:36 AM) If you want to tell me that they aren't a top 12 team, go right ahead and show me proof. Sure. They just gave up 219 yards to Iowa's 7th string RB.
  10. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Dec 29, 2010 -> 09:30 PM) I don't know what your definition of a "f***ing really good team" is, but in my world, they aren't. Last night emphasized that point. This. Honestly, how does the number 12 team in the country not crush a completely depleted Iowa team that was 7-5? Not to mention they lost on top of it.
  11. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Dec 28, 2010 -> 06:09 AM) You obviously havent seen any games lately. Especially when Lenzelle got back they've gone very deep on their bench. Lighty Diebler Buford Lauderdale Sullinger Craft Siebert Thomas Smith Jr Thats 9 legitimate players deep on a team that hasnt gone more than 6 or 7 in many years. I am not talking about the rotation either, when I seen "deep" I mean talent-wise. They are bringing 2 of the best freshman in the conference off of the bench in Craft and Thomas, and they are contributing HUGE both offensively and defensively. Depth is not an issue at all. Yeah, as I've said, they've played Oakland, UNC Ashville, South Carolina, Florida Golf Coast, Western Carolina, and IUPUI since playing at FSU (in which they played 6 guys). That makes it very, very easy to clear your bench off. Matta doesn't like to go very deep into his bench. We'll see how he handles it during Big Ten play, but I have a suspicion we won't see much different. Maybe, maybe 8, but not 9.
  12. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Dec 28, 2010 -> 04:28 AM) This is by far the deepest OSU team I have seen since the 90's You mean they've gone to a 7 man rotation? Seriously though, that's easy to say when you play nobody. In their two "tough" games, they've legitimately only gone 6 deep. Depth looks to be their biggest issue, not strength.
  13. Anyone want to bump the PSN list?
  14. MW2 was absolutely terrible. Black Ops fixes everything wrong with MW's multiplayer, but it is still not MW1. Campaign is decent. Story is a little out there, even for Call of Duty standards. COD4> Black Ops> COD2> MW2=WAW>COD3
  15. Garrett Wittels was arrested for rape in the Bahamas.
  16. QUOTE (fathom @ Dec 24, 2010 -> 04:55 PM) Is it too late to vote for Renardo Sidney as Humanitarian of the Year? Diamond Head Classic is looking pretty interesting. Washington State, lead by Klay Thompson who I believe is your boy, looks like their for real with wins over Mississippi State and Baylor. Butler and them should make a great championship game.
  17. Tropic Thunder was one of the best comedies ever. Granted, it may not have been because of Jack Black, but he was still in it. And agreed on Requiem.
  18. I'm still curious about that call. They just showed the replay at the Gonzaga half. Terrible. Okay, moving on.
  19. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Dec 23, 2010 -> 04:28 AM) The difference in that situation at least in my eyes is there is that the player was in the air and vulnerable to injury. Just how I see it. I think a player in the air needs to be protected. If you were a ref, you would set the record for most intentional fouls ever called by about ten times as much.
  20. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Dec 23, 2010 -> 05:13 AM) You are going to kill your credibility on any Illinois issue if you really keep pressing this one. It was dead long ago.
  21. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Dec 23, 2010 -> 05:05 AM) Sure looked intentional to me. Because you hate Illinois. We know.
  22. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Dec 23, 2010 -> 04:52 AM) It really is. It feels like Duke, and then everyone else. Fixed.
