John Calipari is a dirty coach?
Since Calipari mind as well be Hitler in Memphis, it would be fun to see the Tigers cooperate in a total smear campaign in order to make Cal look as bad as possible.

Is Josh Fields a bust?
Evidenced by what? We have seemed to have our fair share of lift and pull hitters over the years.

If it's a remake, it's MGS3 because all the PR if about Raiden. I'm guessing spin-off? It's for Sony platforms, presumably PS3.

Is Josh Fields a bust?
QUOTE (greg775 @ May 26, 2009 -> 11:49 PM) Was this a joke? Or is the poster 10 years old, which is possible. Josh Fields needs a lot more multi-hit games to prove he's a big leaguer but I wouldn't blame Walker. At least the Walker stuff is Baseball Cliche 101. The Royals are not hitting right now and after every anemic performance the talk shows are lighting up about getting rid of Kevin Seitzer as hitting coach. Earlier this year, they were clamoring for Dave Duncan's head in St. Louis, so much the columnist wrote the fans need to shut up, that Duncan is a Hall of Famer. And since that Cub series, the Cardinal staff has been great, temporarily shutting up the fans. Who are Cub fans blaming for their eight losses in a row? It's a cliche you gotta blame either the skipper or one of the coaches. We've seen results under Walker. It's more of the approach he preaches that everyone is tired of.

Is Josh Fields a bust?
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 26, 2009 -> 09:18 PM) This is the post of the year. Its Greg Walker's fault Josh Fields strikes out. Why wouldn't it be Don Cooper's fault Mike MacDougal couldn't throw a strike? Maybe they should fire him to show fans they care.

Just got back from Terminator. I'm lost at the hate. Loved the characters of Kyle Reese and Marcus, much more so than Bale's. Box office numbers aren't looking so hot though, hopefully it's enough for T5. And agreed on The Wrestler. It was the best film of 2008. But I still think that and Slumdog are the two best I've seen in a long while.

e3 2009 is just 10 days away. Should be interesting as ever with the format going back to its 2007 form. Maybe Nintendo will finally unveil their cards. I'll pray for a new Zelda.

To be fair, all of the home consoles bombed last month including the Wii. It was the first sign that the industry is vulnerable to recession, though the DS did put up record numbers. PS3 really needs a price cut now that people aren't willing to pay for the premium. I figure they'll be one at e3.

QUOTE (kyyle23 @ May 15, 2009 -> 03:46 AM) huh. Never figured you for the campy foreign horror movie, Bob. Learn something new every day ????? Anyway, that trailer has to be one of the worst I have ever seen, and this is one of my most looked to movies as well. Luckily they've said the trailer has little to do with the movie.

Sox vs Tribe 5/12 @ 6:05 - CSN
QUOTE (CanOfCorn @ May 12, 2009 -> 09:28 PM) Really? When was the last time he played there. Last year. Its his natural position. As for the bats, as epically bad as Alexei has been, it's still much better than Lillibridge. And at least Ramirez has a chance up there.
