Best game I have been to this year(although it was freezing at the park). So good I'm going back tommorrow. Lots of interesting things happened; Jermaine gets not 1 but 2 standing ovations during the game, Cruddy homers when his worst enemy goes to the game, and Marte got his ass booed off the field(and deservedly so). One question I have for those of whom who went: What was Mike Scoisca(sp) arguing with the umps in the 7/8th inning? Out group couldn't figure it out.

How do the Cubs rape teams like this? I don't get it. I'm not even giving props to Hendry either. These trades you have to just run into, but the Cubs seem to do it a lot.

I love Ozzie and think he's in it for the long run.... BUT this was way to soon.

I don't like Scheyers game at all. To me he's well overrated. Other than shooting, he doesn't do a thing above average on the HS level, which will translate into very poor on the College floor.

I believe SportingNews did a study on this last year. After the end of the study, they concluded there were only 2 pitchers in baseball with a chance at winning 300 games. Those two were none other than Mark Buehrle and Tim Hudson.
