is it just me or does it seem like whereas we had about a play a game in 2005 that saved us, we have a play a game that kills us this year?

So my question is, why is McCarthy still an untouchable? Even if our offense resembles the 04 offense, that's ok since our pitching staff is light-years ahead of the 04 staff. Let's not forget that was the year when we went to a 4-man rotation for a while and Scott Schoenweis and Estebad Loiaza were half that.
