I am 14-12, I was on fire but they have the lost the last 7 I have been to.

I was playing cards over at the Trump and the entire poker room erupted, I was in a hand so I wasn't watching but I saw the replay. A couple tables had hands declared dead because people were knocking over their chips and exposing cards and stuff, it was nuts.

I always read "meltdown" threads on this board and I try to tell myself that I'll never let it get to that point. Well I want to make it clear that I'm not melting down, jumping off the wagon, bailing out, jumping s***, etc. I'm 24 years old, this has been the best season of White Sox baseball in my young life. I have been to 24 games this year, living and dying with the 9 Pale Hose on the field on each and every given night. This being said, right now I am having such a hard time just being a fan. It isn't because I'm pissed at Ozzie or the offense or the pitching, it's because when I watch this team I don't feel any energy, I don't feel like they have any heart. Tonight I saw glimpses of what was a great team but in the end they couldn't hold on like they were at the beginning of the year. All I want is to be in the playoffs, no matter if it is by winning the division or via the wild card. This isn't meant to be a post to stir anything up, or to say how bad the sox are playing right now, I'm just frustrated right now, just trying to hold on to the hope that this team can find whatever it is they lost and pull it together for the last 13 games.

I don't understand why we don't bring in someone to bunt in that situation. That is so horrible. I'm so pissed off I can't even think straight right now, the way this team looks tonight I can't say we are a playoff team right now. We have given the Indians every opportunity to win this game and not taken advantage of a single opportunity we have had. Too many selfish hitters on this club, it is not the time to worry about stats or picking up the clutch RBI right now, just move the f***ing man over.

For one, I couldn't even find the party for soxtalk.com. I think this team is good to go. When I say that I mean I like what I saw from our slumpers. Uribe, over the last few games has been heating up, lets ride him into the postseason, we all know he is capable of carrying a team. The other person I want to ride is Mr. Garcia, tonight he showed me how he can be a stopper. Tonight might not have been a MUST WIN, but it was definitely an important game, and Garcia showed me that he can step up and be the ace that we are missing right now. Garcia was dominating tonight, something we can all look forward to in the playoffs. WE WILL get into the playoffs, and we WILL win the ALDS, I'm tired of the haters. That is all I have to say, Go Sox.

I think that it is offically time to start to panic. We find ourselves in a position that if we lose game 2 of this double header, Cleveland will have gained a game on us without even playing today. If that happens we are 6 games up, a month ago we were 15 games up. The Indians schedule isn't going to get much tougher and they are playing pretty well right now. We have built our team around defense and pitching and right now neither of those aspects of our team are playing up to, or even near, par. I'm by no means giving up, I still believe this team has what it takes to win the division and do well in the playoffs. When I say its time to panic I am thinking more that yes, we will get into the playoffs, but is this team playing like a team that will do anything in the playoffs? It is just a really bad time to be going into this kind of funk and as the days go by there is less and less room for error. There are a lot of veterans on this team who would do just about anything to get back to the playoffs and have a chance at a ring, I just hope that they can somehow find a way to get back to the same team we saw a couple of months ago.

Congratulations! I just got married at the end of July and spent a couple of weeks in Hawaii for the honeymoon, definitely the best experience of my life so far, I'm sure it will be the same for you!
