Wonder if this takes them out of the Snell hunt

You know who would be a great, cheap addition if you trade Vaughn? Mitch Moreland....hits righties well from the left side. Eloy could DH against LHP.

I don’t get why the Reds would want Madrigal. They have Suarez at 3rd and Moustakas at 2nd. They desperately need a SS.

I’m a believer in Portillos again, as Rosenthal is reporting that Sonny Gray is available. Snell and Gray were two guys Portillos mentioned last week as being on the radar.

Tough call, as I’m not a fan of Bart, but also don’t think Giants will sniff 2nd place in that division for quite a while.

Padres, Giants, Reds, Dodgers right off the bat have catchers that could interest them.

But they don’t need a 2B. They likely want a catcher in any deal. Vaughn is actually someone they could really use.

Yep, seems to be hated by his teammates

Tampa can do much better

Agreed but Stone a few times has said they need a lefty run producer.

Mejia, Abrams and Patino

Yep and any smart agent would wait for Mets to figure out their front office structure. Only deals agreed to now would have to be too good to turn down (Smyly)

Like when they went from Cespedes to Austin Jackson back in the day

Did you forget, everyone knows the budget of every other team as well! Conforto will sign an extension with the Mets, if I had to guess.

Springer isn’t bad against righties though.

I still feel they’ve convinced themselves it must be a lefty bat in RF. Hope I’m wrong.

I’ve heard they’re the favorite for him

I’m sure they see a lot of Glasnow in Kopech

You know I would too, but just don’t think they’d have enough money for that.

Kopech, Vaughn and Collins for Snell and then sign Cruz, Richards and Joc. There’s your World Series contender. And yes, I don’t want to trade Kopech and Vaughn.

He reminds me of Brad Penny

Well yeah, mental wear and tear by Astros kicking his ass thanks to cheating.

What would the Rockies want from the Sox for him?

Instead of going after Marquez with Blackmon, how about Freeland?

Not for only two years of Musgrove. Dunning isn’t great, but he should be a solid number 5 at worst going forward.
