  1. It’s amazing how big he is in person
  2. It blows my mind people think the Sox will get Cole.
  3. 62 pitches, 2 swings and misses. That’s Detwiler-esque
  4. Problem is it seems Twins are going to go after elite pitching also....I don’t think they’re going away for the next few years.
  5. There’s just a crazy gap in talent between Sox offense and Twins. Their offense now is basically what the Sox hope to have it things go right.
  6. He didn’t in AAA this year. Go back and trash the threads of his start, DirtySox was consistent in saying he couldn’t throw his fastball for strikes.
  7. Don’t worry, it will be slow in his movement.
  8. You mean trade Cease for Thor? Agreed
  9. I’m still confused why they called him up when he was struggling to get out of the first innings of AAA games.
  10. Yeah Cease really isn’t ready for the majors. His fastball command is total garbage.
  11. If it makes you feel better, I’m pretty sure him and Jose were only starters who didn’t take BP.
  12. Screw this team...what a joke. This is what you get letting this coaching staff remain intact
  13. Not sure why they’re having him pitch from the stretch
  14. Cease has no control from the stretch. Noticed it warming up as well.
  15. Bat him 2nd or 3rd, wherever you project him when you’re contending. Hate him batting 4th.
  16. Sano was playing in....it’s just freaking crazy
  17. Yep bunting in the first against this awful Twins offense is a brilliant move
  18. Abreu showing his famous defensive ability. How was that given a hit?
  19. He was killing the ball in BP. Nelson Cruz put on a show.
  20. Also watching Giolito throw in person....the lack of arm swing is quite something. Just hope his shoulder holds up.
  21. Eloy looks totally healthy in batting practice
  22. You’re right, no one else over the last few years ever questioned his ability to minimize his pitch count.
  23. Cause that’s not the type of pitcher he is. I’ve always compared him to Rich Harden. Thing is, I would rather he be an effective 5 inning pitcher throwing gas than trying to make him be a cookie-cutter starter that paces himself.
  24. Brewers desperately need starting pitching, as well as late inning relief help. It just seems destined that the Sox get Corey Ray.
