  1. Anderson, Riley, Pache and Contreras for Rodon and Cedeno
  2. Fine, Tatis Jr for Rodon straight up
  3. And has already said Mejia, Urias and Quantrill aren't untouchable apparently
  4. In the other thread on it, I listed Padres, Brewers, Yanks and Braves. I would say Phillies also.
  5. But then if you look at him as a future platoon 1b, those guys don't get ranked very high.
  6. Not surprised by this, as he's looked wonderful of late. If Hahn got a Q-like package for him, I say do it. We still have no idea if he can stay healthy for extended periods and with Boras as his agent, the expectation is he jumps when he's a free agent. WSD has suggested in the past that the Sox haven't cared for his offseason preparation. Brewers, Yankees, Braves and Padres seem to be the best fits.

  8. Was thinking they should make him closer rest of the year. Could be interesting to see how he does as well as possibly enhance trade value in offseason.
  9. They also had a strong connection to Kodi due to him being a first round pick and him finally showing progress this year.
  10. Yep exactly. It's not like we got a top ten from the Braves system. This is about what I expected
  11. And don't forget that Blake's stock was plummeting
  12. Theo probably offered Daniels a job once Texas fires him
  13. Traded for Marcus Stroman. Kenny always gets his guy
  14. Couldn't agree more. In the games I've watched, if a pitcher throws a sinker, he just hits it right into the ground. Rutherford has similar issues as well. As for Sheets, I'm not a big fan of his batting stance.
  15. Something that is interesting is 3/4 of Cubs postseason rotation likely to be LHP. Dodgers suck vs LHP, but Machado will help. Atlanta destroys LHP.
  16. Walker and Sosa both playing tonight
  17. Yep that's what one of the BA writers predicted (Avg leader and GG defense). If Yoan plays to his potential, he would be the greatest number 2 hitter imaginable.
  18. Sac fly was a pop up to 2nd base that the throw was awful on a risky tag. Thank you to runner for helping Nick's average. As for the error, looks like it was a fluky play and not a routine throwing error.
  19. Sure it would be a nice bounce back from what is shaping up to be an underwhelming season. If he's going to Birmingham, it's going to be tough in that ballpark.
  20. With that said, Theo is always lucky to have unlimited resources to cover for his terrible FA acquisitions
  21. Not quite sure why Texas is basically giving Hamels away (bad minor leaguers and covering like 10 mil)

  23. Honestly if you go to any sporting goods store in Chicagoland area, it's probably 85/15 Cubs in terms of merchandise available
  24. In theory I agree, but Sheets is someone with his size and pedigree that has no excuses for such a bad power showing so far. I remember before the draft that some scouts were concerned about drafting the two Wake Forest sluggers, just can't remember why.
  25. Really like LGonzalez swing. They're on NBC Sports Chicago
